The Zentradi. The rest are too much a collection of basic sci-fi cliches for me to like them.

Because they're the most developed, most relateable alien race in the setting.

Unlikely, IMO... Harmony Gold's official position on the Sentinels arc decanonized all of the information about the home worlds belonging to the Sentinels aliens (only the "broad strokes" of the story arc still apply according to their Bibliography FAQ). There's nothing for Palladium to go on there, except for the Haydonites.

Humans - they are the cockroaches of the galaxy, and therefore will always survive.

How about the First Edition Sentinels book? It had the Sentinels aliens in it, too.

I like the Zentradi best as well. Though if we're talking about the sentinel's aliens, I'll go with the praxians. Amazon hoplites aren't the worst thing to imagine.
Though arguably the most terrifying.

Or a clean slate for their own creations. We'll see how it plays out.

Perteryans...but I would have done them differently as far as the RPG goes.
I want to see from Palladium:

I'm rather fond of the new Garudans. I like the new art and style of the design works well and shows a better understanding of design in my opinion. The abilities could use a little tweek perhaps but it works for me.
