Charon returns, wearing a loud Hawaiian shirt, shorts, sunglasses, and a straw hat...

Looks around in shock, opens his mouth to say something...

Changes his mind, shakes his head and leaves...

Com'on, it follows Megaversal Possibility that Lynn Minmei could, and has been, many things; idol, victim, heroine, addict, winner, loser, traitor, murderess, Bridge Bunny, infantry grunt, social hostess, crinelord, Senator, vampire, mutant, cyborg, A.I., Amazon, dragon, Sorceress Supreme, Goddess, Arch-Fiend,....even successful musician.

The really scary ones are when she joins the military.

Gunner Minmei: :bandit: (cracking knuckles)"No sweat. Can we poke up some enemy attackers to strafe us while we're positioning, just to make things INTERESTING?"

Fourth Wall Gang: "...how the hell did she roll a critical -60- on an unmodified 'to strike' twenty-sided?!!!!"

Later, Minmei is wheeled into Emergency with a gunshot to the head...

Minmei: (Coughing blood) "What ... the ... hell?"

Dr. Grant: "Oh they didn't tell you? Kevin got tired of you interrupting music concerts by trying to kill the singers. So he went to the Justice World in the Red Dwarf universe and installed a special field on the Concert hall. Now anyone who tries to perpetrate a crime has the effect put on them."

Gendo: "So son, what do you think of your adopted sister's Banshee Wing Zero?"

Shinji: "I'm the decoy..."

Cut to Godzilla strapped down beside the wreckage of Shinji's EVA... The world's largest IV feeding Ex-lax and Prune juice into it.

Re: Robotech Crossover question

This is an idea I had years ago, but never posted in its entirity due to the ‘no conversions’ rule...but as long as I don’t print specific stats, just fluff(and there’s a lot of fluf), hey, should fly, no?
Anyways, it’s essentially a Rifts/Robotech xover, with clever marketing.

The Robotech Collection: Micro-Dees, Personal Home Mini-Destroids
”Just in time for the holiday gift rush, give the gift of security! AND own a piece of megaversal history with this new and unique new design collection from Five Star Technolgies, the new Micro-Destroids!
THESE ARE NOT SUPER DEFORMEDS! These are fully functional Artificial Intelligence-enabled facisimiles of the authentic war machines that helped the people of an alternate Earth beat back impossible odds to become the rising power of their galaxy! Now you can have a piece of that power of ingenuity, on a scale you can relate to, for a price you can afford, in your very home or workplace!
We’ve lovingly manufactured these finely detailed war machines of the best materials, built to last, with quality components, and our well-established service policies. But these are no franklins*, you have our word; these are, under the historic design exteriors, dedicated working hardware, for the toughest workplace, be it the assembly floor or the frontline.
Of course, we have made a few changes to the little guys, but only for the better. Better articulation in the legs for a longer, faster, more stable stride, additional features and supplementary weapons and sensors, but we’ve been careful to hide all those extras behind body panels and micro-fine joins.
Just imagine the uwhs and ahs of awe your defense bloc neighbors will be uttering when these classics march out of your garage to join you beside the village militia at the barricade!
Order now and we’ll throw in a full set of RDF insignia applique templates and a DVD detailing the full history of the original Destroid line, narrated by one of the people who oversaw the project from the beginning, Commander Vincent Grant! Get your orders in now for this most unique and useful tribute to the classics of robot warfare!”

(*’Franklin’---Not a reference to the Benjamin Franklin banknote, but the Franklin Mint, known to pump out exhaustively-advertised limited-production run ‘collectible’ commemorative enameled plates and medallions. The pre-Rifts collapse of the direct-to-antiquity business led to an enduring use of the company name to describe over-priced, flashy, virtually useless goods.)

Micro-Dees are the latest in security robot systems to come out of Paladin Steel’s Marsus Robotics branch. Micro-Dees(for ‘Micro-Destroid’) are scaled-down robotic versions of the Robotech Defense Forces first-generation destroids, depictions of which were acquired by Heritage Scouts in the employ of Paladin Steel. Micro-Dees are generally man-sized(5-6 ft tall) allowing them to get around inside buildings, though some of them have problems negotiating stairs. Off-the-shelf technology allows PS to keep the price down, while still preserving the Destroids’ incredible power(albeit scaled down). Each Micro-Dee can be considered to be the equivalent of a full-conversion heavy cyborg with regard to armor and armament, but are generally slower and less maneuverable, but being true robots, have the advantage of not requiring sleep or messy bio-maintenance. Of course, the Micro-Dees are expected to do well in sales to d-bees and dimensional travelers familiar with the original Destroids.
Micro-Dees are fitted with basic robot intelligence systems, giving them some limited autonomy, but not a great deal of personality or originality. Though quite intelligent for drone robots, and even tactically cunning for robots, they are not considered scintillating conversationalists by any stretch. They can be programmed or commanded by verbal interface or a portable keyboard and radio-modem(or cyberjack) with the added feature of a locator scanner. Of course, many non-institutional buyers like to ‘tweak’ the A.I.s to include faux persona overlays, giving the pint-sized Destroids rather brash ‘personalities’; Micro-Glads are often given ‘Jeeves’ or ‘Mister T’ personalities, while ‘Lurch’ and ‘Gung Ho Joe’ are favorite overlays for Excaliburs.
Compared to other available robot types, Micro-Des are slow and ponderous, and perhaps not very versatile(with the exceptional of the Gladiator), but they tend to be very well armed, and durable.
Confusing the issue is that PS has also produced variant models crewed by Smallkin.
Currently, the Micro-Dee series is sold only within the GNE (Rifts Earth-based nation) and to select markets out-dimension under various psuedonym brand-names.

Micro-Dee Excalibur
(aka ‘Eastwood’, ‘Gunslinger’, ‘Gunner’, ‘Tin-Tommy’)

“Anyone who thinks the Micro-Ex is just a lumbering telephone booth crammed with guns with no speed or agility has never seen the Gunfighter RRFC-7 systems at work; that upper torso can snap-rotate around and bring its gun-arms to ready and fire spot on target faster than a Juicer or Mach-Borg can react...and damn few things can take a double tap from the particle beams without at least slowing down and feeling it...that’s usually long enough for the rest of the weapons to open up...Most folks, the smart ones at least, quit assuming the Micro-Dee’s a toy after that....”
----Garsh Degan, Consulting Headhunter for Maison de Guerre’s unofficial newletter The Smoking Gun

“Okay, let’s see if we got this special order to spec...You specified you wanted your new Mini-Excaliburs full-body coated in blue-tint chrome laser-ablative, an oscillating red targetting laser in the optics bay, and the vocal chips modified for a double-reverb ‘By Your Command’ input affirmation signal?”
----Anonymous PS retail agent

“One buyer bought a small army of these things...enough that she could secure her home, and have enough reserves to double-line the path to her outdoor pool. She could prance naked down that line, knowing that not even dragons would dare try making a go at her under the guns of those blasters.”
----Anonymous PS retail agent

Easily one of the favorite Destroids, the Micro-Dee Excalibur faithfully replicates its big brother(better known as the ‘Tomahawk’). Second in popularity only to the Gladiator, the Micro-Excalibur is pure Home Security, small enough to fit easily indoors, tough enough to go outdoors, and armed with a wide range of firepower options to deal with just about anything, from the centipede crawling across the bathroom floor, to the gargoyle swooping down the street.
Its lack of hands, however, does tend to limit its deployment somewhat, but its overall level of firepower, makes it popular with everyone from wealthy home owners, to business and military security units.
Type:PS-RTC-MBR-04-VIII(m) Excalibur/Tomahawk
Class: Infantry Assault/Security Robot
Crew: Robotic AI
Height: 6.44 ft
Width: 4.6 ft
Length: 2.8 ft
Weight: 500 lbs

Weapons Systems:
1) Forearm Particle Beam Cannons---Each elongated arm is actually a modified PSPW-14 Particle Beam Cannon(itself a copy of the NG-P7).

2) Shoulder Mini-Missile Launchers---Each shoulder pad can lift up to reveal a frightening array of mini-missiles, ready for firing, just like the original.

3) Leg Mini-Missile Launchers---Mini-missile packs again.

4) Shoulder Heavy Missile Launcher Pod---This back-mounted pod can carry either super-accurate L-SAMs, armor-busting ‘smart’ missiles, or bigger, heavier, unguided ‘dumbfires’.

5) MTZ-V Gun Clusters---Each GC now consists of a cyborg-style forearm 25mm grenade launcher, flame thrower, machine gun, and light pulse laser.

6) Head Mount Machine Guns(2)---Just like the big one, this little monster carries a brace of forehead-mounted rapid fire mini-cannon(actually 7.62 mm LMGs).

Variants:
*MBR-04-VIII(m)(Mc)---MicroScale Smallkin variant, intended to be manually piloted by 1-2 Size Level 1-2 sentients.

Micro-Dee Gladiator
(Aka Micro-Spartan, Micro-Glads, Gladdies, SamsoMite)

“We also thought it was pretty cute when we heard that the new wife of the owner of the Golden B-B casino in Mercenary City had dressed up the new Micro-Gladiator he’d bought in a paint scheme so it looked like it was wearing a tuxedo....
Then we got there, we discovered that it wasn’t one, but a DOZEN of the little buggers working bouncer squad in the bar....Believe me, a phalanx of killer ‘bots in black and white formal, charging at you with missile launchers open and steel pool cues ready to rumble, takes the snickers right out of yah!”
-----Major Leftas Verez, Dark Watch mercenary officer, advising a fellow merc on the nightlife in the Maison de Guerre.

“A bouncer I can see, but a POOL ATTENDANT?! I was shocked to see a Micro-Dee doing just that, decked out in what looked like a pair of Hawaiian shorts! I’m in favor of seeing our work being sold far and wide, but speaking from professional pride, there was just something so WRONG with that picture!”
----Gladys Montaglia, Paladin Steel Engineer, after her company-paid vacation in the CTE.

“Think....Swimming pool...open air...lots of exposed succulent flesh....and a Gladiator among the lambs....I got a nice collection of pelts from the Winged Black Men who didn’t pick up on that last part...”
-----Senor Tetzu Moralez, Proprietor, Montro County Hilton

For versatility around the home or office there’s just no beating the Micro-Dee Gladiator! With its bodybuilder frame and fully articulated hands, this bruiser really takes out the trash(whether or not the trash is cooperative or not!).
The Micro-Gladiator maintains the broad-shouldered, ape-armed, metal-wrestler configuration of its namesake mecha. It is built tough and rugged, with a heavy duty chassis, slab armor, and enhanced strength robotic actuators. Large shoulder missile racks similar to those on the Excalibur give it hard-hitting heavy firepower, a concealed chest gun cluster offers a variety of fire options, and a small laser head turret can be used for close-in defense or utility work. Its oversized hands make excellent metal mauls, power prying tools, and restraining grips.
The Micro-Gladdie is the most popular of the Micro-Dees because of its versatile nature. The same machine can be used as a friendly household helper or a stalwart fearless defender. Being the most ‘humanform’, it has a wider range of program options available to it than the rest of its stablemates combined. Of course, its major shortcoming is that aside from its mini-missiles, its weapons systems are all short range. This hasn’t hurt sales, however.
Another factor in the Micro-Gladdie’s popularity is its rugged construction, humanoid shape, and the large compartments on the chest and shoulders, which appeal to buyers who want customized models. To meet the demand. especially in robot-happy Washington Free State, an ‘economy‘ model(nicknamed the ‘Glad-Man’), stripped of armaments and combat programming, showroom-fresh for modification, has been produced. This model has raised something of a stink with some ex-UEEF members and ‘Macross Purists’ who protest the ‘bastardization’ of the old reliable Spartan(citing one buyer who had her Micro-Gladdie modified into a mobile lounge chair with shoulder mini-wet bar compartments). Again, this hasn’t adversely affected sales of the Micro-Dee.

Type: PS-RTC-MBR-07-IV(m)
Class: Multi-Purpose Utility/Defense Robot
Crew: Robotic AI
Height: 6 ft 7inches
Width: 4.8 ft
Length: 3.57 ft
Weight: 500 lbs

Weapons Systems:
1)Shoulder Mini-Missile Launchers
Range: Varies by Missile Type(Mini-Missile-Typically miles)
Damage:Varies by Missile Type
Rate of Fire: Volleys of 1-12
Payload: 12 per launcher, 24 total

2)MTZ-V Gun Cluster---Same as for the Mini-Excal previous. Each GC now consists of a cyborg-style forearm 25mm grenade launcher, flame thrower, machine gun, and light pulse laser.

3)PSHXL-366C Head Mount Light Lasers(2)----Mounted on a stalk-like head pylon is a pair of light pulse lasers for utility work and close-in defense

4) Optional Use of Handheld Weapons----The Micro-Gladiator’s fully articulated hands can hold and use any infantry-sized weapon the ‘bot is programmed to use

Variants:
*MBR-07-IV(m)(Mc)---MicroScale Smallkin variant, intended to be manually piloted by 1-2 Size Level 1-2 sentients.

Micro-Dee Raidar XL
(aka ‘Micro-Defender’, ‘Twirlie’, ‘Radar Gunny’, ‘Bug Zapper’)

“My neighborhood decided that we were all going to pool our spare disposable income and invest in a set of the new Micro-Raidars; spread the cost, one per household. Then, every night before we turn in, we let the ‘bots out and link their shared fire control to our neighbors’...
One morning we all got up and found three dead Xiticix smoldering in our yards....We went back that very same day and bought a dozen more Micro-Dees...”
------M’Ttta Obermunn, Paladin Steel Canadian Branch Executive, and resident of Golden Hill burbclave.

“DANGER! DANGER! RIFTS FAMILY ROBINSON! APPROACHING GIANT DRAGONFISH! ENGAGING AIR DEFENSE PROTOCOLS!!!”

Essentially a home antiaircraft battery; ideal for skeet shooting and large airborne pest removal. Exterior home perimeter defense is a forte of this quiet and loyal sentinel that never sleeps.
The Micro-Raidar is a straightforward gun-carrier, its arms replaced by heavy weapons mounts. The rather cumbersome configuration makes it difficult for the robot to negotiate anything other than ramps or elevators, further restricting its movements. Deployed in the open, however, with a wide open field of fire, the Micro-Dee is a formidable fire support machine.
The Micro-Raidar comes with three main armament options; a quad-mount of .50-caliber heavy machine guns, four 7.62mm general purpose machine guns, or four long range pulse lasers. Armor is modest, but still enough to handle small arms fire and near-hits by suppressive artillery, but the Raidar’s best defense is to hit incoming threats before they hit it.
For some added utility, PS had added a concealed extendable accordian-joint tentacle with basic grasper on the end, allowing the Micro-Dee to pick up objects. Another extra is the inclusion of a pair of small, close range, laser blasters in the main torso for close-in defense.
Because of its design, the Micro-Raidar isn’t as versatile around the workplace as the Gladiator or even the Excalibur, but its long range firepower, mounted on a compact frame, makes it very popular with remote homesteads and open communities with threat concerns. It is the third best seller in sales for the Micro-Dee series, though it is the one most often sold in large consignments, usually to businesses and communities with close air defense needs. The GNE military has recently made several large purchases of Micro-Raidars as naval shipboard supplementary air defense units, and as field camp perimeter defense. The Raidar-XL is typically assigned to grounds patrol and duty on rooftops, although it is also detailed to ship decks and as door and ‘waist’ gunners on larger aircraft and aerospace vehicles.

Type: PS-RTC-ADR-04-XL(m)
Class: Mobile Air/Perimeter Defense Robot
Crew: Robotic AI
Height: 6.3 ft
Width: 4.39 ft
Length: 2.9 ft
Weight: 450 lbs
Weapons Systems:
1) Gun-Arms---The big long range autocannon are represented by either .50 caliber machine guns or pulse laser rifles(Juicer Assassin Rifle for the range).

2) Laser Headlights---Adds in a pair of small lasers in the chest just for additional fun.

Variants:
*ADR-04-XL(m)(Mc)---MicroScale Smallkin variant, intended to be manually piloted by 1-2 Size Level 1-2 sentients.

*ADR-0402-XL(m) ‘Minotaur’----This variant mounts FOUR PS-M136 Mini-Guns, two on each arm. The mindboggling rate of fire required a redesign of the arms, and the main body to handle the vibrations. In addition to two relocated ammunition drums on the chest, the weapons feed from a heavy ammo drum on the back(adds 160 lbs of weight). Even then, the ADR-0402-XL chews through its ammo supply in nearly no time.

Micro-Dee Spartan
(Aka ‘Micro-Phalanx’, ‘Micro-Spart’, ‘Flip-Top’, ‘Double-Dumper’)

“Oh...sure...it looks like the latest innovation in self-propelled garbage cans, but when it waddles out and opens up with those big missile drums of its....You start chewing dirt and praying you can transform into a mole! About the only good thing I can say is that the things are slow and ugly and not particularly smart, so you can usually outflank or outrun them in a tight spot. Sooner or later, though, somebody’s going to figure out that that ‘vintage robot’ look isn’t necessary, and put some real mobility under those launchers and some battlefield smarts behind that chip-brain, and then we’re really in freakin’ deep pig dung!”
----Major Dale Hoeffer, CS Iron Heart Special Forces

The Micro-Dee version of the Spartan/Phalanx is essentially a walking mini-missile battery, a boxy main body and fire control center mounted atop a pair of thick legs, with two massive barrel-like missile launcher drum arms, and a floodlight tower head mounted on top. It is at the maximum allowable size to fit inside buildings and maneuver through most humanoid-scaled corridors and doors, albeit slowly, though given that its primary role is as missile launcher, few people deploy them indoors. The rather cumbersome configuration makes it difficult for the robot to negotiate anything other than ramps or elevators, further restricting its movements. Deployed in the open, however, with a wide open field of fire, the Micro-Dee is a formidable fire support machine.
Like its bigger ancestor, the Micro-Spartan is configured to carry a payload of missiles, with multi-cell arm launchers that can be quickly modified to accommodate mini-missiles, short range missiles, or medium-range missiles. Like the Micro-Raidar-XL, the Micro-Spartan can be further modified with fire control linkages between multiple robots, allowing real-time target data sharing and coordinated battery fire. The Micro-Spartan can also take advantage of advanced targeting systems for greater accuracy and economy of fire.
So the Micro-Spartan isn’t completely helpless once its missile payload is expended, PS has added a pair of ion blasters to the main body, just in case. However, a wise commander pulls his units back to reload once the missile armaments are expended, as the Micro-Spart is fairly helpless without its main weaponry. Some users go so far as to deploy the Micro-Sparts with loading teams of Micro-Gladiators to keep them in the fight.
Because of its rather limited job description and purpose, the Micro-Spart is rarely gifted with anything other than basic programming and a rather dull, monotone, artificial intelligence that has been dubbed the ‘electric rock’.
The Spartan Micro-Dee is probably the weakest in sales for the series, owing to its slow speed and lack of versatility. Those buyers who do acquire Micro-Sparts often buy them in quantity to deploy as perimeter security or antimissile defense batteries. Too large to effectively move about indoors, it is typically assigned to grounds patrol and rooftop sentry duty, just like its cousin, the Raidar XL.

Type: PS-RTC-SDR-04-XIV(m)
Class: Mobile Missile Battery Robot
Crew: Robotic AI

Height: 7 ft
Width: 4.39 ft
Length: 2.8 ft
Weight: 650 lbs

Weapons Systems:
1)Missile Launcher Arms(2)---Each bulky drum-like arm is a multi-configuration missile launcher, fully compatible with a range of standardized PS micro-missiles, mini-missiles, or MPAD missiles.

2) Ion Blasters(2)----Two small, but powerful, ion weapons are concealed in the chest.

Variants:
*SDR-04-XIV(m)(Mc)---MicroScale Smallkin variant, intended to be manually piloted by 1-2 Size Level 1-2 sentients.

*SDR-04-XIV(m)(SW)---’Sound Blaster’ Sonic Assault version. The missile drums are replaced with oversized stereophonic sonic cannons:

PS Micro-Monster Micro-Dee
(Aka “Micro-MAC”, “Blunderbus”, “Boom-Stomper”, “Clod-Stomper”)

“Nearly as big as an ONTOS, just as ugly, and almost as bad. You see a line of these waddling down the street, you know somebody’s going to be #####ed up pom-pom style.”

This is the Micro-Dee edition of the M.A.C. II ‘Monster’. Even scaled down, the Micro-Monster is a cumbersome, bulky, monster of a robot, easily the size of a small car or a light naval gun turret.
The MicroMonster’s role is unabashedly to provide fire support. It achieves this through sporting quad 40mm ‘pom-pom’ cannons, a configuration more normally seen on naval antiaircraft mounts. This gives the Micro-Monster the moniker of ‘walking gun turret’, and the ‘bot can prove a threat to even heavily armored tanks and full-scale robots. The main problem with this configuration is a lack of ammunition capacity; at full autofire, the MicroMAC can quickly exhaust its onboard ammunition supply, leaving it without its main weapons. Thus, some buyers team their Micro-MACs with loader crews of other robots, like the Micro-Gladiator, that can quickly change out the ammunition supply of the gun-carriers when they run dry.
The Micro-Monster is limited in deployment to outdoors or larger indoor spaces(like automobile tunnels and garages). Operating in concert with other MicroMACs(as in a mobile battery) or Micro-Dees, they can be a devastating urban defense force.

Type: PS-R-HWR00-2(m)
Class: Heavy Artillery Robot, Semi-Autonomous
Crew: Robotic AI
IHeight: 7.3 ft
Width: 7.6 ft
Length: Main body is roughly 7 ft long; the gun barrels extend that to 11.5 ft.
Weight: 6,000 lbs
Weapons Systems:
1) Main Cannon---The BFGs are now four rapid-fire 40mm ‘Pom-Pom’ cannons modified to handle an expanded range of ammunition types.

2) Mini-Missile Launcher Forearms(2)---These are triple-barreled versions of the MMLR-14 Mini-Missile Launcher, complete with mini-laser backup weapon. Some buyers swap them out for laser, plasma, or ion weapons.

Variants:
*HWR00-2(m)(Mc)---MicroScale Smallkin variant, intended to be manually piloted by 3 Size Level 1-2 sentients.

*HWR00-2N(m)---Navalized variant, waterproofed to survive depths down to to 2,000 ft, and the hull modified for neutral buoyancy. Carries an emergency inflatable ascent bag-balloon for recovery operations. Has sonar with a range of 10 miles. Lasers are modified to blue-green frequency, the missile launchers can fire mini-torpedoes, and the cannons outfitted to fire supercavitating munitions with a range of 3,500 ft underwater.

“How the hell did those things get ahead of us?!”
“Great, just freakin’ great. Now we got ninja-bots after us.”

Expanded Micro-Dee Series
The Expanded Micro-Dee Series, also known as the Series-2s, are an expansion on the Micro-Destroid line.
The REF-2 Destroids are smaller and lighter than the original Miocro-Dees, and arguably less powerful, but they are also (slightly) less expensive, and many are faster.
In order to distinguish the newer models from the older line, without constantly resorting to constantly prefixing ‘REF’ or ‘UEEF’, Paladin Steel felt it necessary to give the new Micro-Dees secondary(if hardly more convenient) names, after Roman gladiator types for most of the second generation MIcro-Dees. However, slang names are used just as often.

Micro-Dee REF Excalibur/Thraex
(aka “Ex-Cal”, “Min-X”)

#“Stop! In the Name of the Martial Law of Greater New England! Failure to Comply Will Be Regarded as Resisting Arrest and Treated Accordingly! Consequences Start at Severe Beat-Down Up to Total Vaporization! Just Try It, Punk! This Unit Guarantees You Won’t Like It!”#

This is a smaller, lighter, but faster, and more agile robot unit based on the later generation of REF/UEEF Destroids. Though not as well-armed or armored, the REF-2 MicroDee Excalibur is arguably a better guerilla fighter than its lumbering, weapons-heavy cousin, with more flexible joint articulation translating into greater mobility.
The Thraex is marketed as a light, fast, raider or commando robot. Deployed defensively, it acts as a rapid-response unit, harrying an intruder while the heavier and slower First-Gen Micro-Dees maneuver to trap the enemy.
Type: PS-RTC-SDR-04-XIV(m) Excalibur
Class: Infantry Assault/Security Robot
Crew: Robotic AI
Height: 6.7 ft
Width: 4.7 ft
Length: 2.8 ft
Weight: 380 lbs
Weapons Systems:
1) Particle Beam Cannon Arm(1)----A modified PSPBW-7 in rifle mode takes up most of one arm, but provides the micro-destroid with a hard-hitting energy attack.

2) Shoulder Micro-Missile Launchers(2)---Each shoulder/pectoral compartment conceals two 25-shot micro-missile cassettes, ready to fire.

3) Shoulder-Mount Grenade Launchers(2)---The ‘snorkels’ above each shoulder are really 30mm grenade launchers.

4) Triple-Head Lasers(3)---Based on laser pistols, these three barrels can track independently or fire in synch as one. Alternatively, they can be replaced with an ion ‘arc-gun’.

5) Retractable Vibro-Blade(1)---The arm not holding the particle beam cannon, instead can be fitted with a retracting vibro-blade that slides out of the forearm.

“THE FLAME-THROWER IS NOT IMMEDIATELY LETHAL. TARGETS HAVE AN AVERAGE LIFE EXPECTANCY OF 1.78 MINUTES AFTER IMMOLATION. THIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE IMMEDIATE LETHALITY.”
“I see...So, any of you people willing to risk writhing agony and horrible death for a shot at my client? No? Nobody? Well, they seem to all have buggered off.”
“MAY I PURSUE?”
”Negative.”
“BUGGER.”

The REF-2 MicroDee Gladiator is a smaller, faster, more agile version of its better known older sibling. The ‘Cestus’ sacrifices missile armaments for direct fire weaponry, though it still carries a substantial amount of ballistic weaponry, relocated to a center body launch bay and the lower legs. Programmed as a grappler, the Cestus uses its superior speed to rapidly close with its opponent, peppering them with energy weapons fire, then hammering them at close range.
The REF-2 MicroDee Gladiator hasn’t done nearly as well in sales as the original RDF Micro-Dee, largely because the protruding shoulder weapon barrels often interfere with the ‘bot’s ability to shoulder loads and move around inside homes and businesses. Many buyers elect to have the cannons removed, sacrificing firepower for utility.
Still, as a basic stock model with a wide array of accessories, the Gladiator-Cestus is expected to do well in the market.

Type: PS-RTC-MBR-07-III(m)
Class: Infantry Assault/Security Robot
Crew: Robotic AI

Height: 6 ft
Width: 3 ft
Length: 2.53 ft
Weight: 250 lbs

Weapons Systems:
1) Shoulder Lasers(2)---Standard configuration mounts two modified Pulse Laser Rifles, one on each shoulder. Can be replaced with other energy rifle types, or light rail guns.

2) Center Torso Micro/Mini-Missile Launcher----Can hold and fire either micro-missiles or mini-missiles.

3) Chest-Mounted Light Pulse Lasers---A small twin-barreled ‘chin’ energy weapon turret, meant primarily for antipersonnel duty. Soemtimes replaced with ion weapons or a flamethrower.

4) Leg-Mounted Grenade Launchers(2)---Rather than the leg missile launchers of the original design, the REF Micro-Gladdie mounts a set of 40mm grenade launcher tubes. These are typically used to deploy smoke rounds, but can also fire fire suppression, chemical, or antipersonnel grenades.

Variants:
*MBR-07-III(m)(Mc)---MicroScale Smallkin variant, intended to be manually piloted by 1 Size Level 1-2 sentient.

Micro-Dee REF Raidar-XL/Velite
(aka ‘Veli’, ‘Trident-Arms’)
“Meet Your Newer, Faster, More Effective Mobile Bug Zapper!”

The Micro- REF Raidar XL is a faster, more agile, and more compact variant of its heavier and slower older sibling. In addition to the signature laser arms, the XL sports a close-in laser for self-defense, and an array of surface-to-air missile launchers to give it versatility. Its sensors and programming are also nearly identical to the RDF version, albeit tweaked to factor in the XL’s greater mobility.
The most oft-voiced complaint about the Raidar XL is that its main weapons lack the range and striking power of the older and stodgier RDF Raidar, but this lack of long range weapons fire is balanced by the XL’s faster speed, agility, and response time.
Type: PS-RTC-ADR-04-Mk XI(m)
Class: Mobile Air/Perimeter Defense Robot
Crew: Robotic AI
Height: 6.5 ft
Width: 4.6 ft
Length: 3 ft
Weight: 350 lbs

Weapons Systems:
1) Triple-Barrel Laser Cannon--- The laser-arms are adaptations of the Southern Cross HLW-6 Heavy Laser Squad Support Weapon, modified with the barrel assemblies of the PS-RFL2-33 ‘Blazer’, permitting longer range. In the alternative, the laser arms can be placed by triple-barrel versions of the PSIC-02 Infantry Ion Cannon.

2) Chest-Mounted Short Range Laser(1)---This short range pistol-scale weapon is meant for close-in defense.

3) Back-Mount Missile Launchers(2)---Used to hold either 30mm Micro-Missiles or short-range Black Talon LSAMs.

Variants:
*ADR-04-Mk XI(m)(Mc)---MicroScale Smallkin variant, intended to be manually piloted by 1-2 Size Level 1-2 sentients.

Micro-Dee REF Spartan/Retiarius
(aka ‘Retty’, ‘Shark’, ‘Orca’)
“Faster, sleeker, sexier, but none the less effective at annihilating your enemies.”

The REF Spartan Micro-Dee almost didn’t come to be as a result of the success of its predecessor. As a long range weapons platform, the Spartan didn’t see or need much improvement in the eyes of most customers, and applying the apparent REF policy of ‘faster, leaner, and smaller’ to the Spartan meant in the eyes of many a robot with less ammunition capacity. However, PS decided to go ahead and produce a Micro-Dee anyway. Instead of scaling down the Spartan XIII to be smaller than the previous mark, they kept the same size, reduced the armor, upped the speed, and added more options. The result is a slightly more expensive, but even more effective, combat robot.
Surprisingly, the investment has paid off; the Retiarius is selling quite well to upscale property owners looking for some serious home security firepower. The REF Spartan’s sleek good looks and streamlined angles, especially in brushed-metal paint schemes, have endeared it to buyers looking for something other than boxy angular home robots.

Type: SDR-04-Mk XIII(m)
Class: Mobile Air/Perimeter Defense Robot
Crew: Robotic AI

Height: 6.8 ft
Width: 4.8 ft
Length: 3.9 ft
Weight: 320 lbs

Weapons Systems:
1)Missile Launcher Arms(2)---Each bulky drum-like arm is a multi-configuration missile launcher, fully compatible with a range of standardized PS missiles.

2) Torso Missile Launcher---The lower half of the ‘bullet’ nose opens up jaw-fashion to reveal another missile launcher.

Variants:
*SDR-04-Mk XIII(m)(Mc)---MicroScale Smallkin variant, intended to be manually piloted by 1 Size Level 1-2 sentient.

*SDR-04-Mk XIII(m)(RS)(aka ‘Hobby-Horse’, ‘Hobby-Shark’---A strange variant that replaces the searchlight tower with a high-backed chair, adds a saddle to the top of the ‘shark’s head’, and a set of motorcycle-style controls to the front, allowing for a single person to sit astraddle the Micro-Dee and pilot it like a robot horse. This variant typically removes the lower micro-missile launcher in favor of using the space for either chomping jaws or a cargo space(additional baggage is typically slung from the arms under the missile launchers).

*SDR-04-Mk XIII(m)(F/R)(aka ‘Watering Can’)-----Firefighting variant, with water-drums and sprayers. The ‘bot is also plated in fire-resistant armor.

Micro-Dee MAC-3 Monster/Essedarius Artillery Robot
(aka “Iguana”, “Gun-Sled”, “Goose-Gun”)
“HEEErrrrrrrreeee weeee coooommmmmeeee, to ruin your daaaayyyyyy!”

The ‘Iguana’ is a refinement of the MAC-2 Micro-Monster, and has a lower, squatter, and arguably sleeker body design, making it a harder target. Roughly the size of a small car, this Micro-Dee is a self-propelled battery of cannons and energy weapons.
The MAC-3 mounts no less than THREE 60mm breech-loading mortar-cannon, backed by a pair of rapid fire laser machine-guns. A missile launcher pod and a pair of demolition drones round out the weapons fitout.
The Iguana is still fairly slow, but its ability to bring heavy firepower to street level makes it a powerful fire support unit and a vehicle-destroyer. Iguanas frequently work as the fire support for smaller, faster, Micro-Dee units, laying down ballistic fire in advance of them. As community defenders, they are the mobile artillery, maneuvering to keep an enemy from advancing, and pinning them down with mortar fire.
Type: PS-RTC-HWR-00-Mk III(m)
Class: Mobile Artillery Robot
Crew: Robotic AI
Height: 5.7 ft
Width: 6.2 ft
Length: 7.9 ft, 10.5 ft w/ guns lowered
Weight: 2.7 tons

Weapons Systems:
1) 60mm ‘Snapfire’ Massdriver Cannon---The old Snapfire artillery weapon, now configured as a power armor weapon. The Iguana carries three of these weapons, allowing it to deliver devastating barrages. Like its cousin the Micro-MAC2, however, the Micro-MAC3 suffers the same problems of limited onboard ammunition supplies, and when operating away from ready resupply, it must ration its shells in protracted combat.

2) Heavy Laser Arms(2)---Replaces the original particle beam cannon arms of the original design with heavy infabtry pulse lasers.

3) Mini-Missile Launcher---Mounted in the nose, under the cannon, is a six-shot mini-missile launcher.

4) Bomb-Drones(2)----PS took a hint from the Mechanoids’ Weevil scout robots when adapting the demolition charges for the Iguana. Each wheel-shaped drum-bomb is actually a self-powered weapon that rolls at high speed, directed either by remote control or by a preprogrammed subroutine, to the target. The Bomb-Drones can also be used to scout ahead of the ‘bot, looking around corners, testing suspicious ground, and decoying enemy sensors.
Option: In the alternative, the drum bombs can have their explosives removed and replaced with a sensor package that can include radiation and chemical sniffers, ground-penetrating radar/sonar to sniff out mines and buried ordnance, motion detectors, and other sensor types.

Variants:
*HWR-00-Mk III(m)(Mc)---MicroScale Smallkin variant, intended to be manually piloted by 3 Size Level 1-2 sentients.

*HWR-00-Mk IIID(m) EMMD Enhanced Mobility Micro-Destroid-This variant is more of a traditional self-propelled light artillery piece than anything else; the bomb-drones are replaced with wheels, the legs are redesigned to fold back into a more conventional artillery piece ‘trail’, and a third powered wheel added to the rear. The MAC3 can reconfigure itself into a roadable wheeled vehicle for quicker movement, engaging its legs only for clambering over rough terrain. Also, provision has been made for two folding seats on the Micro-Monster’s back, allowing it to be used/driven as a light combat vehicle.

*HWR-00-Mk IIIN(m) EMMD Enhanced Mobility Micro-Destroid, Naval---The ‘Marine Iguana’. Naval version of the EMMD-D, modified for naval operations. Instead of wheels, though, the lower legs are modified to deploy hydrothrusters and hydrofoils. The EMMD-N can swim underwater as a submarine or ride on the surface like a hydrofoil, going to legs when on dry land. The EMMD-N features a sonar system(20 mile range), the lasers are modified for blue-green frequencies, the cannon equipped to fire supercavitating ammunition, and the mini-missiles typically replaced with mini-torpedoes. The drum bombs are typically replaced by a pair of depth charges or short-range torpedoes. Both (Mc) and regular manned version of this vehicle are available.

Micro-Dee Micro-Regult
(Aka ‘Mini-Regult’, ‘Popcorn Bot’, ‘Gun-Hopper’, ‘Cyber-Hare’)

“Ewwwwww!!! Whole formation of skelebots coming ‘round our flank! Wanna see whose minion-bots are better?”
“Unleash the ‘bots of war! Mwuhahahahahaahahahahhh!!!”
“You’re getting entirely too deep in this ‘Nutron the Kneebiter’ schtick, you know that?”

For those who absolutely MUST have a horde of disposable mook-mecha; a scaled-down model of the ubiquitous Zentraedi Battlepod. The unit is known as the ‘popcorn mech’, because it ‘pops up and gets munched’.
Ironically, in its Micro-Dee form, the Mini-Regult is SHORTER than its Destroid counterparts. The Micro-Dee is built as cheaply as possible, using as many off-the-shelf components as possible. The main body is made of injection-molded composites, the thruster systems came off Juicer Jump Boots, the legs based on copies of Kittani drones, the sensors cribbed from studies of Triax ‘Cyclops’ headgear, and the weaponry based on either existing small arms designs or cyborg forearm blasters.
The lack of hands limits the utility of the Mini-Regult greatly, so they’re best deployed as skirmishers, perimeter security, and scout units. They work best when deployed in large numbers, ideally with a Micro-Glaug ‘Minron’ overseeing them.
Micro-Regults are purchased primarily by those who want quantity over quality, and like to throw swarms of relentless minions at an enemy, or who like to have hordes of tireless defenders patrolling their grounds.

Type: PS-RBT-TBP-01(m) Micro-Regult
Class: Light Infantry Robot Drone
Crew: Robotic AI
Height: 5 ft
Width: 2 ft
Length: 1.6 ft
Weight: 220 lbs

Weapons Systems:
1) Particle Beam Cannons---Replaced with open-sourced particle beam rifles, cyborg forearm blasters, or ion pulse rifles.

2) Chin Machine Guns---Replace with .22 caliber SMGs.

3) Rear Lasers---Substitute w/ Light Cyborg Forearm Lasers

Variants:
*LA-TBP01(m) Light Artillery Pod---Replaces the top laser turret with a dual-pod micro-missile launcher, each pod holding a dozen rounds.

*HA-TBP01(m) Heavy Artillery Pod---Replaces the top laser turret with a dual-pod two-shot mini-missile launcher

*OV-TBP01(m) Scout Pod---Unarmed sensor platform. Carries a normal light/IR search light(500 ft range) and a compact Lance Scanner with ground-penetrating radar.

*OVECM-TP01(m)---Jammer variant of the Scout Pod, that loses the Lance Scanner in favor of a compact dual-mode jammer pack.

*GPB-TBP01(m)---Unarmed drone bomb. Its RTG powerplant is only good for a year before needing replacement. It is meant to carry a medium-class missile warhead to a target, then kamikaze. Typically assigned to penetration missions into enemy facilities where missiles and artillery cannot get to.

Variants:
*SDR-04-XIV(m)(Mc)---MicroScale Smallkin variant, intended to be manually piloted by 1 Size Level 1-2 sentient.

Micro-Dee REF Gladiator/Cestus
(aka ‘Pugilist’)

“GET HER!”
*”AHEM!”*
“I and my mechanical associate would beg to differ with you.”
STompSTompSTomp.
“AFFIRMATIVE.”
“Gentlemen, you may wish to reconsider your decision to attack my client.”
*CLICKCLICK whirrrrrrrrrr*
“This, pointed at you, is the five-point-five-six millimeter six-barrel ‘Peacemaker’ crowd-control weapon, loaded with rubber bullets.”
“DID NOT BRING RUBBER BULLETS.”
”Ah...you didn’t?”
“NEGATIVE.”
”You’re loaded with tazer rounds?”
“DID NOT BRING TAZER BULLETS.”
“You have live ammo?”
“AFFIRMATIVE.”
”...You do have non-lethal weapons available to you, correct?”
