What's Cooking? (2018 Open House Games)
Given that my Nightbane games have been in pretty high demand at previous events, I'm thinking of running two of them this year along with a super-secret-maybe-sneak-preview game for a project I may or may not have written some prospective material for... (hint: it isn't for Nightbane). Thoughts?
So, what do my fellow G.M.s have up their sleeves this year?

Re: What's Cooking? (2018 Open House Games)
I'm not sure if I want to run the games I ran last open house, run games I've put together since then, or make new ones. Last Open House I ran a Chaos Earth, Heroes Unlimited, and Nightbane game. I really like the Heroes Unlimited and Chaos Earth games, and I've run them a few times since then successfully. The Nightbane one I wasn't too satisfied with. I'm unsure how to fix it so I haven't touched it since then. Since then I've made and run a Coalition Soldiers game and a Nightbane/Heroes Unlimited game that I'm thinking of running at the open house. I may get motivated and further develop two other game ideas (one Chaos Earth, one Rifts) that have been in my head for some time now.
That's kind of what I have up my sleeve.

Definitely will run one Heroes Unlimited game and the other two will be Palladium
Fantasy, specifically an adventure that takes place in Lopan (based on material in the
upcoming Lopan sourcebook) and one that takes place in the Kingdom of Phi (a future
sourcebook). I of course want an opportunity to be in at least one Kevin's games.

Re: What's Cooking? (2018 Open House Games)
I plan to run two Phase World games, one Macross era Robotech game, and one Expeditionary Force Marine game. I have already made 3 UEEF marines (STORM teams) and I plan to make a few alien characters to add in.
These are different games then I ran at previous open house's but I will be running a few of them at Owlcon in February.

Re: What's Cooking? (2018 Open House Games)
Definitely going to run Dead Reign, likely on Sunday.
Really want to run BTS, no inspiration just yet but the wheels are turning, likely to run that Friday or Saturday evening.
Have a crazy idea about a 3 part Palladium Fantasy dungeon crawl using Dwarven Forge and miniatures.
Rifts and Chaos Earth are in the planning phases as well.
Working on my VIP Night game, couple ideas "Zombie Train" might be fun, IDK at this point, still working it out.
In the planning phase for Origins next year as well and like to run the same events at the OH and Origins when they coincide.

How does it work? Do you have to register for games before you get there or just sit down at a table if you see something you like? I'd hate to miss out on the couple of games I play (neither of which are Rifts).

Do we know when they are going to start organizing the games and collecting info or has anyone heard back from Scott yet?
I will definitely want to get in this. Mechanoids is the only PB game that I have never played.

If they are doing it like the last couple, they will put a list of games out of the games and the number of players it will take. You then sign your name to the game you want to play. This will be done 3 or 4 times a day. So there is always a mad rush to sign for they game you want when the list goes up. And they do go up during games, so all they games have to pause as everyone runs up to sign for the next one.

I definitely recommend the Mechanoids Trilogy book. Its both a great game combo and a fun look at Palladium's early development.

That sounds like a great idea! There was a CoC adventure for WW1 and another for Vietnam years ago and I thought both worked pretty well. The only issue was some players chaffed at being part of a command chain.

myself and at least one other from my podcast group plan on running some stuff.
I plan on running Heroes games for the city of Cascade, and my standard GM is probably going to do some Fantasy games.

I submitted my games on Feb. 5th.
Rifts Phase World - Chasing Shadowns
Robotech Macross - A House Divided
Robotech Shadow Chronicles - The Oncoming S.T.O.R.M.
I really hope I can get in on your Mechanoids game this time. My friends got to play in one at a previouse open house (I believe the characters were base on GI Joes?) and they had a lot of fun.

The G.I.Joe reference was for the names. Everyone had a call sign, just made it easier when creating the characters and helps me remember what O.C.C. people are playing. Killer Cyborg was in one of my mechanoids games and gave me a lot of feedback that will be applied to this game, so hope you can join
