HU2 Main Book Error
I was updating my magic spreadsheet today, and I noticed that Magic Pigeon is listed in the alphabetical spell listing, but it's not in the book.

Re: HU2 Main Book Error
I can confirm it in my copy of HU2E (Revised 2Edition 7th Printing). It is listed as a sixth level spell, but is not found in the level 6 spells.

Sometimes things like that will have already been caught and posted here in the Errata. Have you tried doing a search?

I have a 6th printing, the guy above you has a 7th printing, and the errors are still there. I highly doubt Palladium fixed it with an errata.

Re: HU2 Main Book Error
I will add that the first error in the official errata for HU2 did make its way into the 6th printing. So it looks like what I'm finding is something that has been overlooked.

It was just an idea. Palladium should really be more careful about these sorts of things. The Beast wrote:I have a 6th printing, the guy above you has a 7th printing, and the errors are still there. I highly doubt Palladium fixed it with an errata.

Are things actually fixed between printings?

As I said earlier, the errata was corrected into the printing I have.

What printing do you have? I have an 8th printing and the spell is missing / included in the summary list.
I reserve the right to change my opinion the moment I am proven wrong; that's called learning.

The erata didn't have what I pointed out as an error.

For those interested here is the errata from Palladium's website:

Re: HU2 Main Book Error
The official .pdf edition contains the spell, right below the Impervious to Energy spell. The title of the spell is in normal sized font and not title sized like the titles of the other spells.

Yes, quite a lot. And not just fixed, changed sometimes as well. The colloquial term going around is 'Shadow Updates', and there is no record of what, or if, something was corrected or changed in a given printing.
The way I found out about these things were drawn out arguments over what it says in the book, only to finally learn we were both technically correct.

I'll bet that came as a shocker!
