Well according the school's rumor mill Dana learned the value and wisdom of investing in non metallic body piercings after her unfortunate encounter with Whassu's electromagnetic resonator.

Unfortunately Dana did not read the fine print stating that all female students who join a harem would be assigned to Karno's harem.

Karno's plastic figurine collection does NOT count as a harem.

Of course, when Chucky tried to hide amongst them, he couldn't help but object to Karno declaring that.
That had the unfortunate(for the two) consequence of drawing the attention of the student patrol which a) revealed Chucky's hiding place, and b) resulted in Karno's collection being confiscated(for various reasons, including possession of bootleg Mazinger figurines).

The fact that Karno gets maimed by a posable doll speaks volumes of his physique.
Though arguably his time spent on these threads has worn the jerkguy down.

Karno's character development in-canon amounted to Loyal Company Drone Can't Understand Why His Assigned Bride Thinks He's a Snook and So He Goes Bloodthirsty. Like the Top Jock who can't understand why the Homecoming Queen's fallen for the midget in the opposing school's (from the poorer part of town/galaxy)band.
In a more involved story plot he might resent why he can't graduate to Most Valued Player On the School Varsity Team when the Uber-Jock (Zor Prime) slips his mental clutch, but he really doesn't. He's that dull and lapdog loyal.
Yeah, he gets slapped around a lot here.

Not at all.
T.R. Edwards you can claim is a product of unresolved trauma. Corg is a ruthless defender of his people, who refuses to compromise. Khyron has a certain charismatic mania, but is arguably a crackerjack officer not afraid to take risks.
Karno's just a clone-stamped company drone with neither smarts nor developed character enough for the fanbase to give a damned about him.

That's true but in the case of Karno the *fans* to give a *damn* about him, namely how much he suffers in comparison to the other so called *villains* in RT.

Speaking of The Master's Saga have you ever noticed that towards the end of that saga Louie was always carrying a grenade on him or making explosive devices out of any scraps at hand?...Hmm I think there is more to Mister Louie then him being an uber Nerd Boy.

Well, some blatant nerd mannerisms aside, Louie was a very PRACTICAL nerd. The incident with the Pupil Pistol also aside, Louie was fairly aggressive, as befits a tanker.

True enough and given that he's such a Nerd Boy I bet he got a few Coblat-60 salted nukes stashed away for a *rainy day*.

Which is why he's my fave Master's Saga male character, as for my fav female character I would have to say it's Nova, I really don't care for Dana given that she seems to be an airhead that's always in heat and most likely supplement's her pay with some *compensated night battles.*

Nova was easy on the eyes, but she was fairly clueless when it came to security...I mean, she was showing ZOR files that she shouldn't have. Oh, you could argue that the GMP was running a subtle double-cross system in the event Zor was a double-sleeper, so they were feeding him misinformation through Nova to see what happened.....but I really don't buy that; they just didn't seem that clever.
Nove also had to have her eyes pried open after having at least one prospective boyfriend blown out from under her.

I didn't mind Dana being airheaded, because when she went LR, she went LT big time.

Favorite male character? Angelo Dante. He was a brick, but he was a sergeant, and as such knew he had to be the reasonable, stodgy, counterbalance to two eccentric lieutenants(playboy Philips and debutant Sterling), two misfits(bantam-weight conflicted Grant and tech-nerd Nichols), and eventually an emo-alien defector of dubious reliability(Zor Prime) . He also beats up two ARMORED GMP guards while wearing only a hospital robe and made it look easy. While everybody else around him had issues, he was Mr. Rock.

Good point, pair him and Louie up with orders to raise as much hell as they can behind enemy lines and within a few days the war is pretty much over.

If I was to compare the two of them to units out of the Red Alert 2 game I'd say that Angelo would be Boris the Russian commando and Louie would be the Russian Crazy Ivan demo trooper.

More importantly, Dante was the resident grown-up in the 15th.
Phillios had his moments, but he was arguably even more hormone-driven than Dana, who didn't have ex-lovers popping up all the time causing trouble(arguably because her love interests, at least in the scope of the show, kept DYING).

Good point and given they way the powers that be keep bump off Dana's lovers one has to consider if they are trying to keep Dana from breed some mutant horror.

With each other? Perish the thought.

No, Phillips probably winds up being gunship-daddy to his kids. Especially if he has any daughters...he KNOWS what young men are like. Though admittedly he'll try to teach his son(s) his pick-up lines(much to Marie's disapproval).

Dana's implied bad relations with her parents means that she'll likely ALWAYS try to be there for her own kids, and will wring herself wretched if she ever had to make the same decisions her parents did leaving her kids behind for professional reasons. Frankly, though, I figure she becomes an increasingly reluctant warrior, with the only saving grace being that the most recent crop of enemies being machines means she can slaughter them without compunction or concern that she's killing fellow human beings...Once the fighting's over, though, she'll throw in the towel and 'study war no more'...or, at best, get into a teaching job as an academy instructor.

Dana's Daughter: "Yes mommy."

Kid forces gear, (sans-clutch), Hovertank immediately flies into reverse and slams into Marie's new car.

Why do you say that about Dana for, near the end of the Master's saga I got the vibe she was a lifer due to her nature to fight evil after seeing how the Masters treated their civies.

True, but she got an early start on her PTSD, and as much as she seems to have trouble with Maia, she really wants to connect again to her family, but on her terms.

Ok and the rumor mill in the UEEF fleet is rife with all sorts of rumors about the *spats* between the two sisters.

You know I wonder how a reunion of all the surviving RT cast would be like a few years after the end of RT proper, everyone seeing who hooked up with who and any kids they might have as well as swapping old war stories while their kids play with the other cast member's kids as well as remember their friends and family who died juring the wars.

Basically a take off of high school reunions.

If anyone can toughen them up it's the Ice Guards, though the high rate of *training fatalities* might make some parents a little how shall we say *nervous* but if they signed the wavers that they will not sue MCHS#69 there is not much they can do now is there.

Random Female MCHS#69 Student#1: " Why are they growling for?..AIIIIIEEEEEE! "

*The students in the CZC club room watch as the Random Female MCHS#69 Studen#1's right hand is skeletonized in less then 0.01 seconds by the pack of faeries*

Random Male MCHS#69 Studen#2:*looking over at this girlfriend*, " They really should put a warning sign on the Amazonian River Fairy tank. "

Actually, those were English Soccer Hooligan Faeries. Without glass bottles or furniture to break, they resorted to teeth.
And yeah, that's why you feed the little bastards weightlifting ingots dropped repeatedly and with force on them(to make sure the iron and other minerals soak in).

To tell the truth, I prefer the "Direct" approach. (Sprays the inside of the terrarium with Protoculture enhanced RAID[sup]tm[/sup])

"That's why we keep a fully charged plasma rifle in the same room as the terrarium. It's also handy for those times that an organism latches onto a handler's arm and won't let go. We can amputate the trapped limb, cauterize the wound, and at the very least deprive the critter of fresh meat to chew on, all in one shot."
