Magic hand to hand
Hey folks,
Does anyone know where I can find rules for different magic hand to hand styles? Ideally, I'm after one that improves your spell strength. I know of Arcomi in one of the Rifters, but I'm not a fan of it.
Regards,
RD

Greetings and Salutations. If you're open to fan material, I did these a while back ...

There are three for Practitioners of Magic, each with a different skill cost (the more expensive, the better the bonus to spell strength). I had some ideas to redo them into a different format (instead of set abilities, more in concept with N&S where you can select from a list). However, what people want in this kind of thing seems to vary, and after am incident I took another break from Palladium (not sure when I'll start again).
Anyways, hopefully you find something to work for you. Farewell and safe journeys for now.

See page 3 from the above link. Its for 1E Palladium Fantasy. IIRC Transdimensional TMNT might also have something in the magic section, if you have the book.

As an added bonus, you can see the odds of a member of a race being a cannibal.

Not to mention a host of other HTHs (might need some adapting for the change between 1E and 2E) like Thief.

Re: Magic hand to hand
Thanks a lot for that!
Hmmm.... none of them are quite what I had in mind. I'll just make do with normal hand to hand and then use the mystic focus ability to improve my spell strength. I was hoping there'd be something similar to the hand to hand styles from WB: China, but with a slight mystical advantage.
