I desperately need some help with references in Rifts with ghost cars, phantom ships, spectral jets, haunted tanks, anything that fits the bill. I have heard snatches of talk about several US Warships, two or three cars in the west (one a reference to Christine by S. King) a Japanese warship, a f14 phantom jet a soviet sub and a WWII German sub.
Any help is mightily appreciated.

I am very opinionated. Yes I rub people the wrong way but at the end of the day I just enjoy good hard discussion and will gladly walk away agreeing to not agree

Well No game stats I can give, but I have taken inspiration from Kancolle and Arpeggio of Blue Steel.
The PG versions anyway, don't get me started on the people with More "Wives" than the 1941 Combined fleet...

Are to him but the Playthings of the Moment,
To be turned over with the Flick of a Finger,
And the Turning of a Page"

Watch this series if you can:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZR093dTc4m8
Imo very appropriate for a Rifts game given that the cars are somewhat alive and can be refuled by blood.

If it's stupid and it works. It's not stupid
Palladium can't be given a free pass for criticism because people have a lot of emotion invested in it.
Pathfinder is good. It is not the second coming of D&D.
Surshot is absolutely right. (Kevin Seimbeda)

When I step out of line the mods do their jobs. I don't benefit from some sort of special protection.
