Hey guys. In PU2 pg.13, The Empowered that takes Psionic Powers to Compensate, if you take Superior Telekinesis (Special) category. You are able to take Psi-Sword at level 1. As the category does not gain new powers as you progress through levels, what would the damage of the Psi-Sword be at level 1? (Psi-Sword states 4d6 at level 3 (as you cannot take this power before level 3). But this category breaks that rule and allows you to take it as a level 1. So, what would the damage be of the sword? 4d6 until you hit 4?
Thanks guys.

Well it does say under the the power that minimum you can do is 2d6 and raise it 1d6 up till your max.
Plus if you go with the 2d6 level 1 then level 2 is 3d6 and level 3 is 4d6 as it should be at that level.

I see three options...
✦ While the Psi-Sword can be selected @ L1, but still can't be Used till L3. (My GMing choice.)
✦ The PS @L1 only does 2d6 SD till L3.
✦ The PS starts @ 4D6 SD @ L1, and stays that way till the char reaches L4

May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.

I would let it start at 4d6.

That is always the case. Even if the books say something, it is always ultimately up to the GM to decide what they will allow in their game.Duskviper wrote:drewkitty ~..~ wrote:I see three options...
