I just got back from a 2-week trip, and I’m doing some catch-up now, but I’m still planning on making more of these. I have no idea if Palladium would have any interest whatsoever in this stuff.

You should be able to see the Pantheon of Ra collection here, and the Pantheon of Taut collection here. I set up both to have early access for Patrons for a month, after which time they should be viewable by anyone.

If you can't see them, please let me know.

Been thinking about these Northern Gods icons for a while. My first stabs at them were too lousy to share, but I had an idea for the not-Loki trickster god: make his icon one of those impossible shape images. Doing that in a Celtic knot may be tricky, but I'll figure something out.

Well, overall, I'm playing with the three-looped classic Celtic knot as a common theme for the Northern Gods, and I've made some progress today:

+I've got one for Locknar done in black/white and color. It's an impossible triangle shape in red, yellow, and blue inside the outline of a Celtic Knot. My plan is to animate the colors of the components of the impossible triangle to shift around the color wheel. The impossible geometry and shifting colors seem appropriate for a god of mischief, trickery, and deceit.

+An early attempt turned out looking too much like a bio-hazard symbol, but I took another look at that today and created a tighter version that seems like it could work for Epim or Hoknar, depending on how I color it.

+For Od, I've made a celtic knot made with chains, since he's famous for binding a Dragon. The chains are a dark metal, representing his famous black armor, and I'll put in some kind of glowing effect in the middle to symbolize his magic power.

+For Heim, I'm going to try to do a celtic knot wreath with a shield on top of the middle part where the components overlap. The shield will feature an arrowhead design. I threw something together today, but it's rough. I might try doing some leaf-color-changes in the animation. We'll see.

Nothing for Belimar or Wolvenar yet, and I'll need to come up with another one for either Epim or Hocknar.

I've got the Heim icon to where I'm ok with it.
Here's a shot of my Northern Gods icons.

Three more to go, and then it's time for tweaking and animations.

Would it be possible to try dark green instead of the blue with loki's symbol, and maybe a black background limned in red for the colour pic, but they are looking good.
Im going to start using the simple black and white ones this weekend.

Latest in-progress for the Northern Gods. I've created an Epim icon made to look like a flower, and I'm making the short, thick one the Belimar icon (dwarf god, seemed appropriate; I'm going for a bronze, silver, and iron look for his).

I have no idea what to do for Wolvenar yet. Paw print? Wolf head? Maybe a trio of wolf fangs arranged into a rough celtic knot? I'll think on that.

Hocknar is a warrior god who's "wrongly named," which never made much sense to me. I'm not sure what to do with that, either.

Latest work in progress here.

I also made the requested changes for Locknar's icon. I changed all three colors for the impossible triangle in the middle; I want them to be on opposite sides of the color wheel for the animated version later.

I’ve got a Wolvenar icon that I’m satisfied with. Just need to sort out Hocknar’s now, and do the fancy and animated versions.

A wrongly-named war god is a weird premise for an icon. I feel like I ought to make a symbol that looks wrong; maybe I should put in some obviously flawed symmetry or overlap.

Got 'em done! I used haft-less axe heads for Hocknar's icon. I now have simple black icons and color icons for all the northern gods. I also have some of them done with bevels and shadows to give them a 3D look.

Time to get busy with animations and some more bevels/shadows and other filter effects.

Belimar's done. I made his a combination of three arc-like elements colored to look like iron, steel, and bronze. His animation is a rune inscription that fades in, glows, and fades out. This is all to symbolize his focus on rune magic and making rune weapons.

Od's symbol is a simple celtic triangle made with chains to symbolize his strength and his binding of a dragon. I animated the fancy version of his icon to be a ball of translucent magic glowing energy getting squeezed in the middle.

Locknar's symbol is an impossible triangle atop the outline of a simple celtic triangle knot, to symbolize his place as a god of trickery. I animated the fancy version, shifting the colors within the impossible triangle to make it even weirder to look at. This is my current board signature image.

Still have Hocknar, Wolvenar, Epim, and Heim to spruce up/animate. I'm not sure how I'll do those yet.

This is the fun part. I got two done today, and there's a decent chance I can finish the rest this week, if not this month.

Hocknar’s icon is done: 3 axe heads arranged to form a rough triangle. The fancy version is gold, and I added an electrical arcing circle in the animated version to symbolize his status as a god of war and lightning.

Heim's logo is done. It's a celtic knot made of laurels, with a shield and an arrowhead in the middle. The leafy laurel of the celtic knot signifies her place as the northern goddess of the forest, the shield signifies her role as a protector of woodcutters, and the arrowhead denotes her role as a goddess of the hunt.

I made her shield gold and extra-shiny in the fancy version, since her animation is fairly subtle: the leaves on her laurels change from green to a mix of fall colors, and then back to green. These fall colors signify her forlorn solitude.

Just Wolvenar and Epim to go now.

Wolvenar's logo is done. Three wolf fangs without roots arranged in a triangle with rotational symmetry suggestive of a celtic knot, symbolizing the god's newness and association with wolves and the Wolfen. The animated version blurs in a magic translucent red wolf paw print, the same symbol used by the Wolfen Empire, with which Wolvenar is closely associated.

Basically, this wolfy logo of the wolf god is as wolfy as possible. Wolfy wolf wolf.

Just have Epim to go. Her logo is a little intricate, and I'm not sure how to make it look fancy/animate it yet.

Northern god icons are done! I went for a flower-like icon with a heart of gold for Epim, and an animation that fades a smaller version of itself in and out with the rune for love, denoting Epim's status as a goddess of motherhood and referring to her power as a rune mage.

The entire icon collection is up on my patreon page (link here and in my signature below). It'll be patron-exclusive for the next month, but will be accessible to everyone after that.

Whew! That's three pantheons done. Maybe I'll do a smaller pantheon next time, like Dragonwright or Rurga.

Thanks, and please do share pictures of whatever you get made; I'd love to see it.

Hocknar's symbol looks kinda like a ninja star had a bastard child with the Star Trek Klingon Empire symbol, but that one kind of came together by accident; I was looking at taking different shapes and elements and fitting three rotated ones together. Hocknar's main weapon is an axe, so I tried making this version first out of three complete axes. The idea was to try to weave them together Celtic knot-style, but it seemed a bit too skinny and lanky. As I played with different ways of putting them together, I realized I could just ditch the handles entirely, and a couple of iterations later, I had this.

I rather wish I could have made the electrical effect a bit more fluid and continuous. I found a tool that can do that, but only for fairly straight lines, not for loops. Connecting the arc to the axe itself would be fun, too, but the lighting effects that would require are beyond my skill and/or toolset. Maybe if I made the logo in Blender as a 3D effect and found a way to model lightning? I don't know; I'm a total rookie with Blender.

Aren't Rurga's bunch mostly specific trees or leaves of specific trees? That might be a fairly simple one to do.

When I did my Eastern Territories map, I made a Dain-Rurga heraldry bit that had scales and a black walnut leaf, which is straight out of Eastern Territories, p167. I think she also has a sword for her pantheon's symbols. Black walnut is apparently quite a thing for her (I have some in my garage I'm using for woodworking, maybe I could work that in).

Cirga's symbol is the Sugar maple tree.

Thanks! Yeah, I have a PhD in Nuclear engineering; I graduated about a year ago. Makes my nerd-dom official, I guess, or at least now I know enough to understand just how little I know about my own field.
