Phase World Ship stats

I was looking through the books again, and wondered if anyone had come across a method of updating ship speeds and weapon ranges - as they are all utterly terrible and a result of the time they were written.

Do people times by ten, a hundred?

Anyone?

The problem with any of these is that in can neutralize the effects of vehicles like Power Armors and combat robots and especially beings like Cosmo Knights and magic. Cosmo-Knights in game are a major force in a space battle but most of these changes will drop them to irrelevance and it's worse for magic. So any changes you make have to include all of those as well.
