Palladium Fantasy Rune font

Same here. Its on my old, old computer (Windows 98) that I don't use any more but I
keep around because its runs some of my old games. Would love to have it back again.

I had an adventure where all the things they had to find where in a rhyme, which I then changed the font to the palladium rune font and printed it out. Without the palladium books the players had figured out what it said in an hour or so (2 pages).

How are runes secret/undecipherable when that happens.

Well for one thing the "Runes" they use are just English letters...
...which is easy to solve if your fluent in English.
Unless you use English as the language of Palladium though...

Or put another way. If you took a list of Phoenician characters or Chinese Cloud Scrip or the like, erased parts of each letter/symbol and then started writing messages in it your players are going to look at it and say "forget this".

In universe one presumes that the 'key' to the runes is not something that is easily accessible.
Let alone the language that it is often written in (remember most of the European languages use the same basic alphabet... but that doesn't make it any easier to read French or Latin or German)

I didn't know this existed; I've been re-creating the rune alphabet in Inkscape for the ones I've been putting in my maps. It's not hard, but it's a time-consuming hassle, and I would love to get my hands on a proper rune font.

FYI for anyone who may want the font:

I have an older version of MS Word and I haven't used the font in a few years, so I don't know if it's compatible with newer versions of Word or if an update broke it. Also I'm not the original author, so if it is broken I don't know how to fix it.
