Thundercloud Galaxy: The Constellations
Since, I haven't made something in a long while. I decided to start a Solar System in the Thundercloud Galaxy. Along with magic using Aliens that have plans for this dimension. Made a few name changes to make things better.
The Constellations
Aliens calling themselves, The Constellations, introduced themselves to the Thundercloud Galaxy and took over (by converting) a small Solar System before anyone even noticed. The Constellations made the Crataegus Solar System their home or at least placed their space station in the Middle of the Solar System. The Aliens offered to help the native population of the solar systems, to protect and grow their worlds. The Constellations even helped save the colonist on Hishomi.
The Constellations has Knowledge to access the magical energy for various effects: from changing the gravity, teleportation, sense danger, sense life, create force fields, create matter, absorb energy, dominate an enemy's mind, communicate telepathically with other life form, open even close gates, advanced healing and even resurrection.
Crataegus Solar System has multiple planets with sentient lifeforms under the rule of The Constellations. The Constellations monitor the planets with a magic they call Slither*. There are a few billion living lifeforms in this solar system.
*Slither is the Constellations verse of Twitch.
Crataegus uses a different currency, in which beings may buy in-solar system currency (CD - Crataegus Dollars) with Phase world credits at a fixed exchange rate of 10:1. This means that all goods and services require Crataegus Dollars.
10 Phase World Credits equal 1 CD.
The worlds are being developed for capitalism to benefit the natives of that worlds and The Constellations, along with connecting the solar system as a whole; the most interesting thing is the citizens of these worlds are happy to go along with the plans of The Constellations. Each world has a representative on Rebus.
CD is used to purchase items in such as equipment, services, clothing, and lease property. Lease Property because The Constellations own everything in the Thundercloud: Crataegus Solar System.
Crataegus Solar System: Worlds
Yu'ziwre - Ancient Egyptian [Catkin and Dogkin "all hairless"] (Tough SDC and some have psychic abilities).
Rineret - Medieval World: Giant Sheep [home to Crataegus Armored Clothing (See below)], packs of dragon wolves and a small colony Cyclopes tend to the giant sheep while fighting off the dragon wolf packs.
Hishomi - Was an Independent Colony world: Mix of 40K (was 260K) lifeforms. | However, this world has about 60 million Xiticix across multiple Hives. The Colonist were saved by the Constellations and are currently on the Rebus Space Station. This world has some medium deposits of K-hex.
Troum - Swamp World: Turtlekin verse Spiny Bush Viperkin and carnivorous plants.
Ujera - Modern World: Red Pigkin (minor mdc)| smoke and smog and their moon called Ne'del (a possible place for some colonist in the future).
Kyliau - Giant Monster World (5000+ Mdc).
So'oshu - Undead world (Batkin zombies world with billions | Darkness and Cold) along with extremely Heavy K-Hex deposits.
Rebus Space Station - Home of The Constellations in the Crataegus Solar System and the refugee colonist of Hishomi.
More to come...

Rineret Giant Sheep
Alignment: (Animal)
Horror Factor: 7 (The Size can scare some people)
Attributes: I.Q. 2d4 (high animal), M.E. 2d6, M.A. 2d8, P.S. 1d6+20,
P.P. 1d6+12, P.E. 1D6+16, P.B. 2D4, Spd 4D6. Supernatural strength and endurance.
M.D.C.: 4d6X10+ [2d4x10] (with wool); mega-damage beings on Rifts Earth and magic rich environments.
S.D.C./Hit Points (in S.D.C. environments): 1D4X10+ [1d4x10] S.D.C. and 1D4X10 Hit Points
P.P.E.: 4d6
Average Level of Experience: 1D4+1
Psionic Knowledge: mind block, resist fear, bio-regenerate (Self) and sense danger
I.S.P.: M.E. attribute plus 1D4X10+ PE; add 2D4 I.S.P. per additional level.
Bonuses: +1 to initiative, +1 to strike, +3 to parry and dodge, +1 to roll with
punch, +4 to save vs magic, +4 to save vs psionics. (+ 3 Strike for Ram)
Damage: Charge per Supernatural P.S. Punch. Rams with horns add +1d6 M.D. to attack.
Size: 12 feet (3.6 m) tall
Weight: An adult male sheep weighs an impressive 198 to 700 pounds (90 to 320 kg). A female sheep is more of a dainty build, weighing in around 198 to 440 pounds (90 to 200 kg).
Natural Life Span: 30 - 36 years
Behavior
Much like their smaller cousins, giant sheep were largely non-aggressive creatures. However, if they believed their flock was threatened, they would fight the perceived threat to the death.
Combat
Giant rams charged at their enemies, ramming them with their horns.
Ecology
Giant sheep lived in flocks. At the very least, these consisted of one ram, four ewes, and a number of lambs.
Habitats
These creatures primarily inhabited hilly or mountainous regions.
Relationships
The cyclopes of the Zynureklan Clan, herd the giant sheep in the Great Northern Mountain Range.
Usage
The horn of a giant ram could be used as a material component for making M.D. weapon (spear, arrows, sword or dagger) but the wool for the sheep can be turned into Crataegus Armored Clothing
Crataegus Armored Clothing
The Pandemonium Wool Base-R2 material although it can take explosive and projectile attacks it is weak verse plasma and M.D. Fire attacks. Consequently, Mega-Damage plasma and M.D. Fire attacks, while stopped by the armor, will also inflict S.D.C. damage to the wearer and could knock him or her off their feet (losing initiative and one melee attack/action). Every 10 points of M.D. damage inflicted will do 1D6 S.D.C./Hit Point damage. So, an explosion that does 37 M.D.C. (round to closest 10) will do 4D6 points of S.D.C. damage.

Re: Thundercloud Galaxy: The Constellations
Gotta admit; some fun combos here....giant sheep and dragon-wolves? With Cyclops as (straight out of the mythology) shepherds?
Fantastic.
Fantastic.

Re: Thundercloud Galaxy: The Constellations
Rineret: Mini Part 2
The cyclopes of the Zynureklan Clan, travelled here thousands of years ago and began herding the giant sheep in the Great Northern Mountain Range.
Zynureklan Clan
The Zynureklan Clan shepherding is among the oldest occupations, beginning some 4,000 years ago. Sheep were kept for their milk, meat and especially their wool. Over the last few hundred years, sheep and shepherding spread throughout the Great Northern Mountain Range as a peaceful occupation.
The giant sheep were integrated in the cyclops culture and allowed the clan to focus their spare time on crafting lightning weapons. To maintain a large flock, the sheep must be able to move from pasture to another pasture. This was an easy process until the arrive of the dragon wolves from the southern mountains. The dragon wolves had run out of sheep in the south and the packs went north. The cyclops and the dragon wolves clashed with deadly consequences for both sides. The Duty of Shepherds was to keep their flock intact, protect it from Dragon Wolves and guide it to the clan areas in time for shearing. In these times, shepherds also commonly milked their sheep, and made cheese from this milk.
Shepherds would normally work in groups either looking after one large flock, or each bringing their own and merging their responsibilities. They would live in caves, often shared with their sheep, and would buy food from local communities.
Packs of dragon wolves are intelligent but due to their increasing numbers wiped out the giant sheep in the southern mountains. Starving the pack has moved to the northern mountains and has found "food".
The dragon wolves want the giant sheep for food for their pack, but the Zynureklan Cyclops are now on alert. The Zynureklan Cyclops are ready to defend the Rineret Giant Sheep to the end. So, for the last ten long years a bloody battle between the two factions have gone onward.

Re: Thundercloud Galaxy: The Constellations
Hmmm..The only other time I've seen giant sheep referenced in sci-fi is Cordwainer Smith's 'Norstrilia' stories. There At the descendants of Australian colonists have discovered that their giant genetically-engineered sheep, when infected by a local pathogen, produce a serum that confers immortality. Said drug makes the Norstrilians obscenely wealthy. Naturally, this makes poaching the sheep potentially very profitable, so the Norstrilians have ploughed much of their wealth into making their planet one of the most heavily fortified worlds in the galaxy and their flocks the most heavily-guarded animals.

Very interesting, Taalismn.
One normal sheep produces anywhere from 2 to 30 pounds of wool annually. The wool from one sheep is called a fleece; from many sheep, a clip. The amount of wool that a sheep produces depends upon its breed, genetics, nutrition, and shearing interval. Lambs produce less wool than mature animals.
Let us say a mature Rineret Giant Sheep produces 2d4x10 pounds of Rineret wool per year.
Each pound of wool is roughly worth 1000 credits (after turned into Crataegus Armored Clothing). So, each Rineret Giant Sheep is worth on average between 20K to 80K credits per year.
Zynureklan Clan will definitely need the Constellations help in order to protect their sheep from dragon wolves and raiders.

Re: Thundercloud Galaxy: The Constellations
Kyliau - Giant Monster World
Kyliau is a rainforest world estimated to be millions of years old, making it one of the oldest rainforests in the Solar System. It is the center of the evolution and distribution of many endemic species of plants and animals, and the rainforest is one of the few remaining natural habitats for the certain plants in the Galaxy.
Peat swamp forests occupy the entire coastline of Kyliau. The soil of the peat swamp is comparatively infertile, while it is known to be the home of various bird species. There are about 15,000 species of flowering plants with 3,000 species of trees (267 species are dipterocarps), 221 species of terrestrial mammals and 420 species of insects on Kyliau. There are about 440 freshwater fish species in Kyliau. The Kyliau river shark is known only from the Kuroi River. In the last few years, the Constellations state that 123 new species including the Bakemono Dragon have been discovered.
Kyliau lowland rain forests cover most of the world, with an area of 4,275,000 square kilometres (1,651,000 sq mi).
Kitanai peat swamp forests.
Great hearth forests.
Southwest freshwater swamp forests; and
Yasei Shelf mangroves.
The Midori Sea to the east.
The Ooyama rises above rain forests in the central highlands, above the 10,000 metres (33,000 ft) elevation with many rare orchids on the great mountain.
The Tropical and subtropical grasslands, savannas, and shrublands to the south.
Bakemono Dragon
The Bakemono Dragon was once an earless monitor lizard (Lanthanotus borneensis) is a semiaquatic, brown lizard transformed into monstrous carnivorous lizards that were highly genetically modification by a long-forgotten race. Currently only 320 of the powerful Bakemono Dragons exist.
The Bakemono Dragon have a cylindrical body, long neck, short limbs, long sharp claws, small eyes, semitransparent lower eyelids, and six longitudinal rows of strongly keeled scales. They are capable of hearing, although lack a tympanum, an ear opening and other externally visible signs of ears. The upperparts are orangish-brown, and the underside is mottled dark brown and whitish, pale yellowish, ochre or rusty. The tail is prehensile and if it is lost, it will regenerate in minutes. The skin is shed infrequently, possibly less than once a year. There are both reports of the skin shedding in one piece (similar to snakes), or in smaller pieces (as typical of lizards). Overall the sexes are alike, but males have a distinctly broader head and broader tail base than females. The differences between the sexes are clearly noticeable from an age of about three years. They sometimes oscillate the throat and the forked tongue is sometimes flicked. They can make a deep, frog-like vocalization.
The Bakemono are aggressive, M.D.C. monsters with low human intelligence and cunning intermingled with predatory instincts and a lust to hunt and kill.
The meaty tail of the Bakemono Dragon becomes S.D.C. after a few hours and tastes very good; on par with Kobe Beef.
