Hmm, i think i'm missing something as in the main book 2nd ed.
The Protection from rings are constant.
Eye of the eagle
Eye of the cat
Gem of reality
Boots of fleetness/mystery
Cloak of shadows
Gryphon claws
etc
pages 250-260 generally.

Was there anything in particular you were looking for?

If you are looking for plot hooks crystal magic from the island at the edge of the world are fun

Well, most of the magic items that aren't "ring/talisman/bracelet with spell effect X" are passive boosts. There are a lot in the Western Empire books. The rings are particularly useful.
