Can't really find a theme that is easy on the eyes and doesn't have a lot of fluff...went with the Prosilver dark theme for now as the others are way too bright or the contrasts don't work so well between the back ground and the text.

Curious what you're all going with? What feels the easiest on the eyes for you?

Can we get some other themes here that are a bit more tame and eye/glare-friendly?

Also, there are errors in the headers. For example I see:

I went with the same theme as it was the closest I could find to the vibe of the old forums, and doesn't seem glaring on the eyes.

Yeah, not sure I'm a fan either, they all are a little to colorful for me.

For now I'm using "ColoredLight" because it seems to take a bit better advantage of a wide screen as opposed to Prosilver.

I tried to post earlier, but nothing happened. I actually refreshed the page and tried again, and still nothing happened. I left Sound Off and came back, and my post still hadn't appeared. That only explains two of my earlier posts, though, not the third.

After experimenting with all of them (1996 and 1978 were amusing) I also went with Prosilver (Dark Edition).

Yeah, it's all pretty disorienting!
I like the idea of the 1978 and 1996 themes, but they're kinda distracting.
Haven't settled on anything yet, because they all seem to have shiny bits that attract my eyes to an annoying level.

Click on your username at the top of the page, next to private messages.
Then click on user control panel.
Then click on board preferences.
Then go down to "my board style" and you will have a drop-down menu to choose from 7 or 8 different themes.

I went with Prosilver Dark. The other options were either too bright or too dark.

EDIT: just tried out a bunch of em, and I actually like the GamerDark so far. It's a bit wider like the ColouredLIght one and has the pros of the ProsilverDark in terms of lack of brightness and what not.

GamerDark is mine too, but iirc, last time this hiccup happened it took a bit for the 'palladium' theme to be added. Hopefully it does again.

Blackboard - We have plenty of "dark" themes.
Ultra Light - Same as blackboard.

I will check though with the powers that be. We really do not need a dozen themes installed.
