psionics or magic
I am trying to find out if there has ever been published a psionics class that transfers wounds to the caster allowing the other person;s wounds to be healed. After the caster transfers the wounds then the caster heals those wounds. Alternately if there has not been a class like this in either the fantasy or futuristic version. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I would go about creating one?
Re: psionics or magic
Not that i have seen in fantasy, but have toyed with a similar idea.
also note i use 1st ed healers with bonus powers but i would base it on that, take away a couple of added powers and give sacrificial healing, the healer steals 1d6 damage from the injured per 2 ISP spent, and then if done immediately the healer can then choose to spend a further 4 ISP to heal themselves for 2d6. This takes 1 round to do.
So if the healer Spends 10 ISP, they heal 5d6 (lets say 12 was rolled) damage for the wounded party, and take that amount of damage themselves (12), they also choose to spend the 4 isp to heal themselves for 2d6 and roll a 5.
So all told 14 isp was spent
The wounded party was healed for 12 points of damage.
The healer took 12 points but then was healed for 5 so has taken 7 damage all told.
This allows bigger heals to be done, but at risk to the healer.

Psychically transferring damage:
a) Powers Unlimited 1 pg 95 - Wound Transfer
b) Coalition Manhunters pg 117 - Share Pain and Suffering

It's not psionics or magic, but there is a Nightbane talent that does exactly this - Sharing the flesh, Nightbane main book, page 112.

Re: psionics or magic
In PF, no psi powers that I can think of.
However, on the magical side, the life force wizard does have a "kill to heal" power, where they essentially take the life energy from an animal (or captured humanoid) to transfer to a wounded being.
