Well, this is one of my finer warpings of a spell. There is no saving throw for the target of Second Sight and it cannot be blocked either sending or receiving unless the target has Mind Block up. So, what would happen if the caster sent the vision of what he or she is seeing to someone engaged in combat or some other complicated task? It says that the image is "What one might see in a crystal ball except it is only in his mind". How distracting would that be? Could it work the opposite in a combat situation where someone is blind and you use this spell to let them see what you see and help them in a fight?
Could you be blinded and cast Second Sight on a friend, and then use their eye sight to cast a Line of Sight Spell? Could it work the other way where a person is blinded and you "loan" them your sight and they use psionics/spells/or some power with that sight?

"Also, shouldn't it be called 30 second sight?"

Re: Second Sight as a distraction
As it doesn't say it gives combat negatives i would say no distraction.
And if you would allow a line of sight spell to be cast around a corner using a mirror i would say yes.
However i would say no, for me is a line from your eyeball to the target, if you can run a bit of string between the two i have no problem, so line of sight through glass is a nono as well, same with cameras , but yes with portals.
