Magic Booster & P.P.E.
There's a symbiote called a Magic Booster that grants extra PPE. My question is, can a character sacrifice PPE using its boosted bonus & later remove the symbiote without effecting their starting PPE scores? To me it makes sense that the squids in Atlantis & their minions would breed these creatures to fuel their rituals & magics without harming the host's abilities, letting them take the hit, wringing them of PPE & then tossing them in the trash.

For clarification (for others) the Magic Booster can be found in WB21 pg120-1, and is properly classed as a Parasite.
Not sure exactly what you are envisioning here. It is possible to get rid of the parasite (via surgery), but the extra PPE goes with it. So yes you can "sacrifice" it for PPE and not effect your pre-joining PPE base.

Well, a few spells ask for the caster to sacrifice permanent PPE, or like, an Astral Mage sacrifices permanent PPE to create his domain, I was wondering if one could effectively get the parasite to take the hit instead, without effecting the caster in the long run

Re: Magic Booster & P.P.E.
Permanent sacrifice of PPE (or SDC or HP or ISP as the case maybe) should come off the character's personal reserve and not the symbiote/parasite or other ability. The mage loses the PPE when it's removed, so the PPE in this case was never part of their permanent PPE to sacrifice.

Re: Magic Booster & P.P.E.
An Eye of Eylor, Lobee-Optos, Talo Mind Worm(WB2), Psymbiote(WB12), Magic Booster, Mind Blossom, Psi-Receiver, Psychic Vapor, Temporal Link, Zembakh Appendage (WB21), and Paratee(DB6), likely among other things, can add ISP and/or PPE to the base of a host. While most of those perhaps shouldn't be used to deal with permanent drain there can be value in granting access to draining effects for characters which wouldn't be able otherwise.
As an example temporary use of a pair of Talo worms grant access to psychic powers, which could allow a character like someone getting ready to undergo Full Bionic Conversion to sacrifice some of their PPE towards an Astral Realm. In one game I had Psymbiotes, who congregate in/around the Great Lakes and are described as becoming increasingly militant against Splugorth predation, use access to a "heaven for cyborgs" to draw people to their cause.

Re: Magic Booster & P.P.E.
this would be like sacrificing a temporary SDC bonus to make a golem, it's a neat-sounding trick but if it were possible there'd be a lot more golems around
Re: Magic Booster & P.P.E.
Rules do not really address it, so it's up the the game runner to make a choice.
That said, the wright up makes it seem like the PPE is actually the parasite's and the host just gets access to it, due to use of scare quotes when talking bout the boosted PPE in side effects. So I would rule that you cannot use it as a sacrifice for such costs (unless you can somehow use PPE sacrificed by other sources due to an ability or something).
