P.S. Blast Radius

Unread post by Zenvis »

I have a question for those who have an agmented P.S. (tremendous, superhuman, extrodianry etc...), Whats the blast radius from a punch? The reason why I ask is that in my game the blast radius is one inch around and deep from impact, so a PS of 12 or more really stands out.

Hmm, I'd say:

Extraordinary: Damage x 0.33 inches
Superhuman: Damage x 0.67 inches
Supernatural: Damage x 1 inch

This assumes a fairly hard target, such as a car, brick wall, armor, etc.
There you go man, keep as cool as you can.

Exhausting the S.D.C. just leaves a hole that is half the diameter of the blast radius. (Something I forgot to mention.)

Quarter, half and full inch would be a good idea. Hmm....

i think a "blast radius" for punches would be a bit silly. when a punch is thrown, whatever is hit takes damage.

I think he is trying to address the collateral damage

I like the SDC/damage formula, it even, and consistant. The drywall and bank vault door will treated the same.

However if the total SDC of the object hit is destroyed then I might say you just put a clean hole in the darn thing

so with a 10' vault door at 1000 sdc and damage of 10 pts done would indent 1% of the door,...

seems a bit much hmmmm

How about anything under 10% makes no visible affects, so it would take 100 pts to create a 1' wide dent in the door
The entire experiment may ultimately not work. But as Tiger Woods tears into the springbok, his mouth crimson with blood, he looks to have all the makings of a natural-born killer.
