Last time I checked, Jaeger, it's a movie. Still, even if it is a TV show, it might be worth checking out.

If you really want different superheoes, read the Wild Cards series edited by George R.R. Martin. Or if you already have, pick up Deuces Down, the latest book (#16) in the series.
