I was wondering if there are any newer protection, summoning, or power circles for the summoner class, from new books or made by players or G.Ms
if you have any info on these please tell my of them and what they do and how they look
Thank you

Yep, I forgot that it was a large collection of linked circles that did all of that.

It should be possible, if rather risky and dangerous, to research new components to circles whose primary ingredients are no longer around/common?

I let my wife play rifts once....................she shot me in the back of the head with a naruni plasma pistol, gaffa taped a type 4 fusion block to my nether regions, and kicked my ass off the apc travelling at 100 MPH

Just as easily as going to the bottom of an active volcano to dig up a big pile of Rune Weapons that were dumped there to protect the world, the quest for Old One's Blood is the ambitions that campaign's are created from and often ended with. As an indication, the scenario in Old Ones is depicting one of the least defended prisons existing on that plane. My current campaign group finished that entire scenario after three months in the middle of it. Four characters died, three made it out alive. Of those three, one died from the curse of the Eternity Sword, a second was forced into indentured servantry to Dragonwright, and the third was indentured by Thoth's lackey's for sneaking an artifact out of the Wreckage in the mountains. The greed of the characters involved in a couple cases deliberately killed others in the group, and caused the death of many many other benign individuals throughout that adventure.
To Find Old One's Blood:
1>> The Magus in question must first find out that Old One's Blood is actually of direct necessity to his ambitions.
2>> Locate Foolish cannon fodder (otherwise known as Adventurers)willing to try to keep the aspiring magus alive to the bitter end so that he may try to use the blood to conquer the world.
3>> Locate a prison. (Which always means alerting others to your quest and possibly...no very likely...enticing them to interfere with the groups ambitions)
4>> Travel to the prison. (Traveling in the world of Palladium is risky in the cities, and albeit deadly outside them. Travelling to an underground mountain complex that most likely is occupied by some very nasty and usually horribly powerful entities is usually daunting to even the most courageous adventurers..three words...Dragons and Angels...
5>> Approach the Old One - if even possible... (mountainous landfills, or even mountains may have been bought down on the Old One in question in order to keep prying adventurers away...)
6>> Drawing Blood From An Old One (Despite the fact that they are asleep, the old ones are completely immune to normal weaponry. The prison binding them and preventing them access to any PPE neutralizes any magic whatsoever...escept for the fabled Rune Weapons that are the subject of most history books in the lands)
7>> Having a container for the Blood (Heh...the most potent fluid in the universe...what would YOU put it in?)
8>> Keeping the Blood long enough to use it (This is actually the hardest part...somebody somewhere along this entire adventure outside the adventuring group has inevitably garnered some information regarding the adventurers ambitions. By the time the adventurers make it in and out with the Prize...they will be hunted..for good or ill...until it is established that the Blood is no longer much easier to aquire than jumping into the middle of a prison built by the Gods...)
9>>Using the blood...(Can we say.."Your character is now dead" or even..."Your character has been exalted into the anals of history, ascended into the higher planes, and is now an NPC.)
I wont go into what was done with the blood in my campaign...suffice to say it was never actually used, and was placed into a much deadlier vault than the old crusty catacombs the blood was aquired from.
