What do u like to play?

Hi i was just wondering what race of character most people like to play. I personally usually like to play a human man of arms. I enjoy playing a game where i can die at any time from anything, and most likely will die.

Ice Dragon hatchlings and wolfen are about all I bother with.
Eyes without life, maggot-ridden corpses, mountains of skulls... these are a few of my favourite things.

I am the first angel, loved once above all others...

Turning the other cheek just gets you slapped harder.

well... I must admit that I bridge the gap : some of my favorite characters were borgs, including the very big and monstrous ones (I LOVED Warlords of Russia), an unusually good looking ogre Maxi man, cosmo knights (some frow rather weird looking species, including a monro, though) and a demigod.

I just love playing some of the powerhouses afforded by the system, and have nothing against using the monstrous creatures offered as player possibilities, though most of my characters are humanoid, and usually human looking, at least in those campaigns where *not* looking human is a major defects .... playing a Kreeghor or monro is definitely a different challenge on Rifts earth than in the 3 galaxies.

though I have toyed around with Supernatural Creatues in the past, I find it more easy to get into character with a Human/humanoid character. It's more than just getting a ton of MDC and regeneration. The character has to be relatable to me on some level, otherwise I might was well be playing Ever-crack or the like.

I'm a dedicated GM, but If I were to play, I would choose a Scholar/adventurer type like a rogue scientists or perhaps a men at arms like a headhunter or ex CS trooper. I too like to be able to relate to some degree with my characters.

I think that Midnight made them popular here.
