Or the CS is its bastard offspring; such is not clear from the few Chaos Earth books published thus far.
There you go man, keep as cool as you can.

Yep, best of all worlds. The frugal pragmatisum of Canada, the high-tech zeal for cool killing machines of the U.S., and the uber cheap labor force to put it all together from Mexico.

It would be funny if they release a character for Chaos Earth from NEMA that was a Prosek.

Thank you. I was thinking about it and was wondering if they did more beyond law enforcement and intelligence gathering, seeing as that was the nature of the core groups that make up NEMA. It would be stupid for a law enforcement/internal security/intelligence gathering organization to choose Glitterboys. Noisy, highly visible, high potential for massive collateral damage. But, NEMA does more than that, so it is a moot point.
they also include a sort of national "SWAT" type role.
and with their role of homeland defence, image is everything.
if the US/canada/mexico was invaded, it would be the army/navy/airforse/marines that do most of the fighting, NEMA's GB units are just the goverments way of saying "we will protect you."
the image of a force dedicated to defense will appease the populace. try hyping the army for that. wouldn't work as well, because while they are one of the nations defense groups, they also are trained to attack, which can inflame anti-war sentiment.
the Samas pre-cursor (which, funny enough, is slightly more powerful than the CS Samas),
actually, the USA SAMAS from spirit west is the CS precourser version. the glitter SAMAS from CE was a NEMA only model.
