Vibro-Axe question

Unread post by GaredBattlespike »

I recall a version of WP: Battleaxe that added damage at second Level. If a supernatually strong being has this WP, and a vibro-axe is the added damage MD? What about high augmented strength? Can the Juicer in the game take me apart faster with this weapon/WP combination, or is the player just blowing smoke? :?

Thanks,

GaredBattlespike

Thanks. I thought something was a little...fishy,but I just wanted conformation about it. :-? The sad thing is; it sounded plausable at the time and I was not sure because it was skill based damage rather than strength/power.

It's in Palladium Fantasy, so it couldn't be MDC.

Personally I'd say the damage would be SDC OR MDC, depending on the applicable ST of the being swinging it. A normal human would only add SDC, a dragon on the other hand would add MDC. It's the technique of swinging that adds the damage, so obviously MDC creatures would do MDC.

I'd say that regardless of strength they'd get the bonus. As you said, it's the technique that's granting the bonus, not additional strength.

Good counter argument. I conceed that that does make sense, though personally I'd probably stick with my way. :)
