I'd say they could be used to boost the power of a master psychic anyway.

I'd run it like this:
The psi implants would influence the areas in which future psionics would develop. So if you were a minor psionic who had implants that gave you Super Teke and TK Force Field, then a bizarrely kind Gene Splicer decided to modify you into a mind melter, then the first two Super Psionic powers you picked would have to be Super Teke and TK Force Field.
Or if you had an Erupter (fire) implant then I'd say that the Splicer couldn't make you into a Mind Melter at all, but he could make you a Burster.
Technically the implants would still give you the same powers, they just wouldn't do you any good because your "natural" powers would supercede them.

Tyciol wrote:Yes, it does seem strange, after all the implants work better on a psychic than a nonpsychic, so why would it work for a nonpsychic and not a master psychic at all? Despite that, I'm trying to go by the wording and stuff.
Because the portion of the brain it would work on is already fully 'developed' in a Master Psychic? It's like with an old computer, sure you could overclock it to get better performance out of it, but once it's been overclocked you can't go back and overclock it from that level to make it run even FASTER.

Good idea KC.
But the Sensitive, Physical Reactor and Eruptor Implants could all affect one portion of the brain, while the other implants deal with another? I'll have to pull out my book tonight and see which implants can work for a master psychic
