Why not a mentally unstable TK enabled character from any game with psychers? There isn't a "friend" but he thinks there is and when ever it interacts with the real world his TK power manifests. But no not a PCC or RCC specifically like that. Maybe they could be called a Harvey.

Herald of Shadow wrote:I always thought a funny character would be a small child with an 'imaginary' friend. the friend is really there, but an invisible (somehow even invisible to dog boy/psi stalker senses) being, possibly a demon of some sort that only the child can see.

Maybe it is technological?

Well...I don't think Dog Boys can detect beings in the near Astral... could be wrong on that point, but you could have an Astral Entity "watching out" for the character, using TK and Telepathy. So, the character could spout away all they wanted, and the entity, while they could not hear the character, would be able to read their mind to find out what they were saying.

To top it off, make the "friend" about the same age mentally, think about it...a melter with the mind of a 6 year old...

Cool...I've been FAQed... atleast twice!

basic idea is a slightly insane char whoe psi abilities have manifested themselves( subcontuosly) as a imaginary friend. a sort of ectoplasmic/telekenetic being (split personality). the char woudl talk to his friend and such and is very real to them. they think hes a wierd d-be or something.
i already knwo about the cursed psi occ and this is a bit differnt. thsi seems liek it could work in rift, bts, or nightspawn. i am only familiar with rifts and im pretty positive that in rifts thers nothign liek this but i though id ask and see what u other palladium expert might have to say about this.

so has it been done?

I think this could be a neat character. I haven't ever thought of it, and I have made a LOT of unique characters over the years.
Just make them a mind melter, crazy, or other psychic class that has access to TK and ectoplasm.
Have fun!
