Hmm.
I might allow it under certain circumstances.
The NGR has those borgs that look like gargoyles, so they have pretty good borg technology.

(BTW, a Thinman is actually a robot, not an actual mechanoid.)

I'd recommend the following concepts:

1. A borg body shaped like a mechanoid (the organic part) and that could pilot the mechanoid suit. This would be tricky because the mechanoid controls would have to be replaced with more convential controls. GM's option if this would be able to be done at all.
2. Just play an AbM.
3. Transfer Intelligence Bot (hardly anybody has the tech for this, though. You might be able to import a HU character, though and have him adapt a captured mechanoid bot.)
4. A psychic Chiang-ku could phsically transform into a mechanoid and pilot one of their power armors.
5. A larger mechoid power armor suit could be drastically reconfigured to be piloted by a normal human or human psychic. GM's call on this. I'd have it be extremely tough or even impossible.

I havnt read much on the mechanoids mainly due to the fact I just got the book recently. If the creature has a semi biological part that pilots its armor, another way to consider it would be the super possesion or another simular power of the like.

I did run a campaign where a Mutant with the power mechano link was involved in a horrific accident that transfered his thoughts and essentialy got his whole brain to a computer, It was a interesting campign.

The player realy did well at playing it out, eventualy with the help of the other players was able to get himself in a semi humman appearance robot even though he lost his super powers he was able to do many things that was quite suprising.

Don't forget the -40% (or more) for dealing with a totally alien technology.

Also, hopefully the cyberdoc won't forget to charge the life support system with an Oxy-Nitrogen atmosphere... ;)

Anyway...'noids are more than simply brains. They are a cybernetic organism in a unique mechanical life support and combat system.

there are dog girls, but not for the purpose you're imagining. they mostly take care of puppies and help condition them to the CS army lifestyle.

This just crossed my mind today. Are there Dog Girls so the Dog Boys can get some action every now and then? Is their breeding cycle Human or Canine? If they get pregnant do they still have a full litter? Inquiring minds want to know.

I'd say yes.
In my games, sexism is pretty well stamped out in the CS.

Larry97501 wrote:Actually no, Dog Girls are just less common then Dog Boys otherwise they wouldn't have the concept of a Dog Boy being raised Feral as it is described in the Lonestar Book.

Now if you want to hear something disgusting, many of the animals if raised outside of the CS are prone to learn magic. Mainly the Battlecats and the monkeys.

awesome. im going to go roll up a monkey boy mystic knight.
