I was thinking of taking my players into Russia, so I delved into Warlords in some depth... and stumbled on a bit of bad editing that bothers me.
Some of the vehicles there are basically civilian, but can be fitted with "light" weaponry. There are also mentions of some that have been bought by the sovietsky military, and fittedwith weapons...
In those, I read mention of MK "saber" quad rail gun turrets, and Kharkov M9 manned rail gun turrets... which are not explained or described anywhere else that I know of.
would anybody know more about these mystery adaptations ?
(like the borg bike that was so heavily customized that it did not properly match the text...)

Could you give the page numbers of the weapons you are referring to...so I can see what you are referring to?
EDIT: nevermind, I found the page. For those wanting to join in this it is: Warlords of Russia, Pg. 148, left column, under the final note before the "Noyvet Bear ATV" description.

This is extrapolation from both Warlords of Russia and Mystic Russia.
The two weapons that are breifly mentioned yet have no stats or other referances are named the MK "saber" Quad Rail Gun Turret, and Kharkov M9 Manned Rail Gun Turret.
We'll start with the Kharkov M9 Manned Rail Gun Turret: Simply take the stats off of many other rail guns that have no name given for them. Such as those on the War Wagon, pg 159, that only calls it a "Manned Rail Gun Turret". Those stats should be suficient.
As for the MK "Saber" Quad Rail Gun Turret: I could not find any other weapon with the MK suffix. The closest I could find was Minsky Mekanikal, but that may be a stretch. Since it's a Quad weapon I'd just assume it to be four linked rail guns, just like the above one, and modify the damage appropriatly. 4D4x10 to a range of 4000 feet. If you believe that they are just another type of rail gun identical to the ones on the War Chariot, pg 157, then your looking at 8D4X10 to 4000 feet. Definatly not something that would be used against lowly ground troops much. Definatly against borgs, dragons, and other military vehicles. Just keep in mind how much ammo somthing like that would chew up!!
Just my opinion, hope it helps.

Thanks Temporalmage... I guess I'll follow your lead... It is the only reasonable course to follow in the complete absence of Data.
Frankly, I was hoping somebody would signal me to an errata, or something published in the rifter... but it seems no such thing exists.
