Rifts: Japan

I want to purchase the Rifts: Japan book, but i heard a rumor that they're going to reprint it soon. Does that mean they'll be doing revisions to thier mistakes also? And if so, does any have a general time estimate? If so, i'm gonna wait to buy it. If not, i'm gonna go ahead and order it. So what's the word on that?

??? check with your rumors source, as well as the various press releases on the site to sea if a reprint is either scheduled or recently made.

Don't get your hopes too high, unless a book is really revised, the contents are usually retained, bugs and all... just go to your usual store check the Africa book to see if the experience tables of the various OCCs and RCCs are included, or the special abilities and skills of the Tree People RCC ... I don't know if they are in recently printed copies, they weren't in my 2nd printing one. Similarly, look in CS Navy for such new skills as naval tactics, naval history and basic cybernetics. If they are still missing, you can safely bet that any bug in Japan was never corrected. i

the next reprint won't be revised, just sent though the printers again.

It sounded like you wanted the book.

It's not like there are lots of mistakes (BPS) in Rifts: Japan that need to be fixed anyway.

If its reprinted w/o being revised all that would change is the correction of typos.

The errors were in the very OCCs, they don't reflect much more than a shallow misunderstanding of "japanese" culture.
