Seriously though, Doom is correct in that a Hatchling player character can only chose H2H Basic. Maybe they could chose another hand2hand skill after adulthood or more probably it's the fact that NPCs aren't held down by the rules that govern player characters.
Although I'm going from RMB, Dragons & Gods may be different.

The word "THAN" is important. Something is "better than" something else, not "better then", it's "rather than" not "rather then".

Japanese dragons can know mystic martial arts and can teach them to people but still can't use them themselves.
