I agree with Nekira The Chiang ku is the master of the Shapechanging races. And they can also become mages learning the spells, language and literacy skills of the class.

NightBane(NB main), reshapers(nightlands), phantoms(PW), roage infernal demons(Mystic china), fox spirit (MC), Changlings(PF), shifter mouse(ATB), a hero with some sort of body shaping power can be magic granted or in born super power, or a granted power(HU),

I agree the CK is probably your best choice.
