Also, I think New West has some info on 'bot dogs that you could use as a comparison

Another possible source: the robots from the Chaos Earth book.

loki_racer wrote:Alright, we've been playing a campaign for a little while now and I am looking to spend some of the credits I have, but I can't seem to find what I am looking for.

I am looking for a recon robot. I want the AMEE robot from Red Planet. I don't want weapons other than hand to hand Assassin, want killer speed and block/dodge/etc. Have multiple sensors and a detachable flying recon bot.

I was wondering what you guys think the cost to have something like this built would be. Like I mentioned, its a recon bot, not a weapons platform.

So, how much?

Well there is no need to reinvent the wheel here. Just take a skelebot, available on the black market. (Especially after the war with Tolkeen, where skelebots were proven to be inefective) Which costs 3 mil for a normal skelebot, and 3.8 mil for the Hunter type. If you can find the FASSAR-40, which is the Hunter Skelebot presented in the Coalition War Campaign book, it would be ideal. That specific skelebot has a small chest cavity that is normally used to hold e-clips, books, computer disks, etc. That would make the ideal spot to place a small flying drone that is loaded with little more than a souped up optics package.

Actually if you're going to reprogram and redesign a Skelebot, then the Hellion is the way to go. Only such machine out there that has Auto-Dodge and is as quick as you're looking for.

World Book 11.

..The game is circa 101PA, so some of those answers are out, but the New West stuff is allowable, as may be the Chaos Earth drones.
