They have Muay Thai in there, and assuming each character starts with 2 attacks per melee in addition to those listed in any matrial art, it's possible to get 11 melee attacks by 15th level (12 if boxing is included). 12 melee attacks and an ability to use *all* of them for attacks in the first melee action, heaven forbid that anyone with MD H-H capacity use this little advantage.

well lets put it this way

in N&SS, Thai Kick Boxing can teach you body hardening exersies. a common one would likely be Chagi or Kick Practice.

now depending on what your using, in Conversion book one it lets your power kick do 2d6 MD.

in Rifts japan, it lets your power kick do 5d6 MD AND let you turn all SDC to MDC for 1 minute.

and in Ninja's and superspys theres mention in the text discription that

"without exception, this is the worlds deadliest martial art"

What's that gunk about 2 extra attacks over those provided by the MA form?
that's how it's done in most pally game, true, but NOT N&SS. Also, straight transferal to rifts is unlikely... unavailability of teacher, broken tradition and all that... and when I see how the job was hashed in Rifts Chian 2 ... I'm not sure I want to know how it would get translated.

Muay Thai studios in my area, and the ubiquity of schools for other forms makes it more likely that those forms would survive. Also, people with superior H-H skills should survive in greater numbers if only against the human bandits of the Dark Age, so why not allow most characters access to more H-H options.

Actually, they probably wouldn't, not in anything rating its own description... they would just dissolve into MA HtH.
