Are they considered magical? Do they cause damage to vampires?

No to both counts.

Their MDC inflicting properties and extreme ruggedness come from their peculiar molecular structure, but otherwise they are similar to "normal" MDC steel alloys, and have no mystical properties.

Nothing to prevent you from plating your Kisentite blade with silver so you can hurt vamps and were, though.

Except for kissing the MDC edge of your Kisentite blade goodbye.

the MDC stuff is still under the silver... no need to apply a layer thick enough to turn the blade into a bludgeon.

It’s got to be thick enough not to rub off on the sheath/scabbard and have enough silver to be able to do the Van Dammage. :)

In the Book of Magic, on page 321, it refers to the Kisentite weapons as Nuhr TW enchanted. Now I had thought they were just well made from MDC material, but now it looks like they are saying they are some kind of lesser rune magic.

Are TW weapons considered magic? Would a TW lightning sword damage a vampire?

Those are enchanted. Not all of them are and they don't need to be to do MD.

Yes TW weapons are magical and do damage to a vampire.

I agree with Doom. Kisintite was first presented by Palladium in Aliens Unlimited. Its the alien alloy that is ultra hard and ultra dense that can hold such a sharp edge as to do extreme ammounts of damage. Think of it as a mono-molecular edge that does not dull. The proccess to refine the rare alien metal requires a huge plasma forge if I remember right, and once forged the weapons are near indestructable. But I have never read anywhere that states that they are magical in nature. A few players I've known prefer them as they look like normal swords and knives, are deffinatly not vibro weapons nor regester as magic weapons nor TW weapons, so are usually allowed into city's that make you check your weapons and armor. 8) That and they do more damage than ordinary vibro weapons.

Actually...

Wrong.

In AD&D you could electro-plate a few atoms of silver onto a non-magical weapon and damage the undead. In Palladium, you need "a significant percentage" of the weapon to be silver...which means you are

Besides...just buy yourself a Hercules Club with a silver banded head...5D6 (+PS bonus) damage is plenty! You have the chance of taking down most vamps with 3-4 blows if you do max damage! :D

Oh, and Temporalmage...it's a laser forge actually...they are looking into using an ion/particle beam forge right "now"... ;)
