New Chi Mastery: Gecko Hand
Chi Mastery (Positive or Negative Chi)
Gecko Hand: The character has learned to focus chi into their hands, or feet, enabling them to stick to smooth surfaces -- like iron filings to a magnet. This power can also be used to lift an object just by touching it. Cost: Two (2) points of Chi per Melee Round to hold the character's body weight, or pick up a small object. Four (4) points of Chi per Melee Round to hold twice (x2) the character's body weight, or pick up a medium sized object. Eight (8 ) points of Chi per Melee Round to hold quadruple (x4) the character's body weight, or pick up a large object.

The description SAYS "...hands AND feet..."
So, by that, you can walk up one wall, across the ceiling, and down the wall on the other side of the room!

It wouldn't work on water.Originally posted by Tyciol.
This is very interesting. Is there a chance we could make uses for it for the feet as well? Then practitioners could walk up walls, or walk on water, like in Naruto.

Which is why you would use your hands and your feet. Kind of like wall-crawling, which is why it's named Gecko Hand.Originally posted by macksting.
For that matter, it's possible there just isn't enough chi in the world to handle that sort of leverage. Sure, it can support the character's weight, but the character might still be subject to gravity, leaving you hanging from the wall by your ankles.
Not exactly walking up walls.

This is sorta along the lines of my Bubblegum Crisis book describing issues with a superhero lifting a battleships. Paraphrased, it said either the battleship would break in half, the hero would be pushed through the hull and into the ship proper, or the hero would sink into the concrete.
bah, away with your silly logic. theres more than enough chi in the world

The minute you start using DBZ for "logic", you've lost the argument.Originally posted by Tyciol.
DBZ logic says that the Gallet Gun can destroy the planet, and since a spirit bomb Goku made is stronger, there's enough chi on the planet to destroy itself.

Revised
Chi Mastery (Positive or Negative Chi)
Pihu Shou / Bikfu Sau (Gecko Hands): The character has learned to focus chi into their hands, or feet, enabling them to stick to smooth, solid surfaces -- like iron filings to a magnet. If the character wants to try and climb the surface they are "sticking" to, this is the only thing they can do in the Melee Round -- besides talk -- and they are limited to 1/4 their Speed.

Why a Zenjorike?Originally posted by Slag.
Looks good, though I'd make this a Zenjoriki power rather than Chi Mastery.

I dunno, it doesn't seem so supernaturally mystical and hard to explain enough to be a Zenjorike. It just seems like another ability developed via years of meditation and Qigong exercises, except with this one, you can pretend to be Spider Man

Yeah. To me Zenjorike are "martial arts magic", and this doesn't really qualify.Originally posted by Hibik.

And now for something completely different.
Can anyone name the two sources I used to come up with this ability?

Not really. If it was a Zenjorike it would have no Chi cost, and you could move at full Speed.Originally posted by Slag.
Walking on the ceiling like Spiderman is not mystic enough to be Zenjoriki??

No. The chi will only extend into the surface that the character is touching. Therefore, if the character covers his hands or feet they won't be able to stick to a wall or ceiling.Originally posted by drewkitty.

but does it mean you can use it while wearing shoes to make sure they don't get left behind in deep mud?
