I requested and started using it over a year ago and those of you that got it and have snagged it from the REQUEST section in the avatar selection area. Could the two or three of you using it now pick something else or put in your own request, Please?

Well... I don't know... I found my Apsu in Requests too... and took it in part because I never saw anybody using it, whereas my former one was shared with at least two other guys (who I still ocasionally mix up) ...

Now Kestrel, I'm comfortable with it, isn't there some other you like and that is not in common use? I feel rather weirded out when I see a post I know I did not put in headed with my "face"

I've had all three of my requests "taken" by others. Perhaps this is something that can be better served in the wish list section though? (ie having a unique avatar)

It's called "Good Form" and being respectful of others. I find his request to be perfectly fine. I myself recently asked the same of someone who was using my avatar and he cordially acquiesced. If the shoe was on the other foot, I would have done the same for him.

I've seen several using this avatar. I requested this one and several other Alien Intelligence ones as well. I don't see a problem in others using it though.

I requested this Usurper one.
I assumed it was a request to add it to the list of available choices not for exclusive rights to it.
And strangely enough that's how it ended up.

I assumed when you requested an avatar that it became unique to the person requesting it. Or at least people would be gracious enough to honor that request, but then again ...

1st. Not your decision to make.
2nd. I put it here because thats where I saw like two or three people with it.
3rd. The request was not aimed at you(since you were not using it) so thank you for your unsolicited opinion.

..I requested one at the onset, and after several repeated requests without answer or action, I selected the one that fit me from the system. I guess nobody else appreciates the mad genius of Beathoven...

Do what? Offer a suggestion or get a unique avatar? If its the latter you mean then you gotta give up the C-29 toting Deadboy, thats one of my requests (the first one I think).

Naw I'm cool with my Sheriff avatar now. It was one I requested though, that and the pic of the CS Special Forces (triangle/sword/skull), bout a week after I requested both people started using them.

Besides as pointed out all requests go into a general pool that anyone can pick at anytime.

a) find a PB illo head or bit you like and that's not already in the system

b) go to the requests board and mention that which you want (book, page, description) on the proper thread, I even think it's a sticky or something the clings to the top.

You are very welcome, it may not be my decision but it certainly follows the precepts of common sense.
