10 - 15 ships (the rest of a once mighty fleet).

Its been a long time since I last saw the series. but it did not seem to Powerful with the numbers. But then when you have the power to fold space and call upon additional forces once you have secured the protoculture, you really need not stress on numbers.

I will say that I am surprised that there was never any Zents. within thier escort fleet. I would have thought that they would have had some.

It's been awhile since I've seen SC episodes. But my recolection of the cut scenes of the Motherships seem to only show a handful of vessels. So my vote is for 3-7.

The animation shows positively that there were at least 12 warships. However, there appear to be more (no way of proving it though) due to the fact that there are pan shots that have indistinct 'blobs' in the same shape as the city-ships. That would probably raise the upper limit to about 20+.

Then there are the 10 Heavy Cruisers escorts per City-Ship and the Multipurpose warships/transports from Half Moon and The Hunters. This doesnt include the several hundred Bioroid Assault Corvettes per city-ship. That would put their forces well over the 2000 warship mark. Makes sense as we include the Pegasus, Gossamer, Cheyenne and Horizon-class shuttles/transports in the UEF total fleet forces.

I took mother ships to mean just the big city ships, not any of the smaller ones, so just 3-7 IMO.

by Motherships I mean the 5m wide City/Carrier Ships. the Other Vessels mean alot, but the # of Mother Ships was my Goal, the RPG Implied to me that Masters had one, that had bearly enough Energy for life support, and if it shoots it main canon... its out of power.

The escort cruisers are smaller (386m) than the Tristar-class Cruiser Leaders. The uRRG has a file here: http://www.artemisgames.com/robotech/Naval/tir_TaulDetrel.html or you can check out the file on Robotech.com's Infopedia.

The multipurpose transports are larger (510m) than the Tristar-class Cruiser Leaders. The uRRG has a file here: http://www.artemisgames.com/robotech/Naval/tir_Transport.html or you can check out the file on Robotech.com's Infopedia.

If Stan will provide the addy to Gamlin's ftp, I wrote up the file for the Bioroid Landing Craft for Robotech.com.

Olsonk's Robotech Research has numerous screen caps from the series of each of these ships.
