Laziness is no way to approach a challenge. :D

But, seriously. Not everyone owns every Rifts book ever made, so they don't have access to all the possible O.C.C.s that can come up in this thread.

I'm guessing the C.J. comment means it was reprinted in a C.J. Rifts book, eh? Or is it just a red herring?

Is this an O.C.C. that is actually given a full write up in three different books, or is it an O.C.C. with optional rules mentioned later(like the Advanced Crazy)?

But, it doesn't appear to have a write up in Underseas. CS Navy and South America are the only books that it does have a full write up. I think the three appearances limitation means it has three full write ups in different Rifts books. If the O.C.C. mentioned only had two full write ups in any book and followed the other limits, Pirate is a correct answer.

Where is it in Mercenaries? Same with N&SS. And with Mutants in Orbit. And Phaseworld. While going through these books, I may have missed it. But 'Freelancer' is not an O.C.C. I saw anywhere other than Wormwood.

Freelancer is definitely in MiO, in the beginning O.C.C. section with the JOAT and Pilots.

fine, shouldn't be hard.

This O.C.C. appears in a Non-KS Book.

It is intended for a different dimension/setting entirely.

It has no S.D.C.

It has H.P.

It is from an old book, for a very very old setting.

It has no access to modern weapons/skills.

Not in a Dimension book, The book wasn't Written by Kevin.

It isn't for a contemporary setting.

(note, I don't have any dimension books, or rifts world/source books)

Clarification: It appears in one book which is not in the Palladium RPG world, but is intended for Palladium RPG use, and it has nothing to do with Rifts.

Then why is it in a Rifts topic?

the other ones were from barely rifts settings, MiO is vaguely rifts, but mostly ATB or Hu2 (the latter of which is the kind of universe the book this came from)

and why, it just seemed like a good challenge, and when you find it you will go, oh..duh.

if theres a problem with that, and i've broken the unwritten (It has to be from a Rift's book only) rule, let me know and Ill end the facade and defer to the next poster.

Yes, it's supposed to be an all Rifts thing. That's why it's in this forum.

I'm going to see if I can it still. The part that says it's not in the Palladium RPG world is meant to mean the Palladium Fantasy world, right?

Here's an easy one.

1. Has access to magic, but many have no idea about the ways of magic.
2. In the book that it appears in, it is the only O.C.C.
3. Has other special abilities
4. Does not start with any cybernetics

the Ancient Martial Artist is for Palladium Fantasy use, and has no S.D.C.

don't know how the conversion would go to rifts.

I didn't word one of the qualifies correctly. The O.C.C. has access to magic spells, so the T-Archer isn't the one I meant. But, it fit the original limits, so it is a correct answer. Go for it Atlas.

Here's an easy one, let's see who gets it first (it will probably be whoever reads this first)

An OCC that can have either magic, psionics, cybernetics or super powers.

yes it's almost stupidly easy and I think it's been mentioned on this thread a few times already.

Darn it. I almost posted that.

But if the floor's open to another challenge...

This character:
- Can make a Psi-Sword at 1st level, but would rarely use it.
- Has a Horror Factor.
- Isn't always Human.
