W.P. Trick Shooting and Fire Walker P.P.C.

Unread post by psijudge »

W.P. Trick Shooting is restricted to the following occupations; Military, Law Enforcement/Police, Bounty Hunting, Detective/P.I. or Security but the following P.C.C. can get it as well; Physical Psychic, Bla.. I am mean Ghost Hunter and Fire Walker.

I can understand Physical Psychic being able to get Trick Shooting, being more attuned to their physical skill and abilities, but why should a Fire Walker be allowed to be able to get Trick Shooting? There is nothing in their description stating that they are good with guns, in fact, with them throwing fire all over the place, I don't see them using guns as much anyways.

"Guns, never carry them, rounds have a tendency to explode when it gets too hot." Anonymous Fire Walker.

According to the description of Trick Shooting, it requires a gun to use, so they wouldn't even be able to do any trick shooting with their flame attacks.

I can see a couple of the Trick Shooting being used by a Fire Walker, but then I would limit it to their fire attacks only.

Because sometimes K.S. doesn't make a whole lot of sense when assigning skills to OCC's/PCC's.

In theory, all the neat shots trick shooting allows can be performed with fire bolts. For a fire walker, fire is every bit the natural extension of their body that a gun is for the others with trick shooting.

Probably because the Fire Walker is just an exceptionally focused physical Psi.

If you have Heroes Unlimited 2nd Edition it's discribed in the Hardware catagory under the Weapon Expert section.

If you have or can get a hold of Rifts New West it'll have it in there as well under the skill discription.
Showoff often leads to showdown
Svartalf- Shinobi, You're twisted
Mack- I'm constantly amazed at what people will put their energy into. This planet needs more predators.
Saitou Hajime- What kind of Americian are you?
Shadyslug- Good question

A W.P. that allows you to use one of the trick shots normally associated with the Sharpshooting skill in other Palladium games.

Will it allow paired pistols?..... :D

No, that's W.P. Paired Firearms.

Notably neither Sharpshooting nor Paired Firearms are listed in BtS2, but from other sources one may infer that each would cost two Elective skills and have the same class restrictions as Trick Shooting.

I already answered that in the post above. If your Occupation or P.C.C. allow it and the GM even allows the skill in his or her game, yes.
