Somehow I'd always missed this error

I think at the time, my quick fix was to assume the dates were wrong (mis-print or something) and fix them to be consistant.

Twist "4" is correctly listed as being 2488 A.D., but the following twist, Twist "5", is listed as 2713 A.D., meaning that Twist "4" would have had to have been 225 years long. That can't be right because twists in Cycle "Prime" are always 125 years long. Obviously a math error was made when the years were originally calculated.

So the question becomes, "How should I address this?" Should I say Twist "4" is 225 years long due to some quirk in spacetime, or do we revise the dates in the book? Either way, Twist "8" falls beyond the date given for the Third Millennial Barrier as long as Twist "Null" doesn't fall on or before June 10th, 1986.

Anyone have any opinions? (besides the rightly considered one that I've wasted too much time on this already )

You stopped too soon. While there is indeed a period of 225 years between Twist 4 and Twist 5, the subsequent twists are again separated by only 125 years.

Assuming this was a mistake and not an intentional temporal anomaly, if you just subtract 100 years from the dates listed for Twists 5-8 they'll be accurate again (i.e. Twist 5 will be 2613, Twist 6 will be 2738, Twist 7 will be 2863 and Twist 8 will be 2988).
