Ok, there are at least 3 types of clones in the Tv series.

Basic Bioroid/Soldier clones: They are singular and probably are slightly engineered for better response, which translates into more fluid movements of the Bioroid through the 'thinking cap'. They also serve as basic shipboard security and infantry. They are classified as Androids by dint of the invasive levels of cybernetics throughout their bodies. Also, because they are clones themselves, neither the UEG nor the UEF consider them to be living humans. These even extends down to such personalities as Rolf Emerson and Dana Sterling.

BioHumans: Only hinted at in various portions of the Tv show, it would appear that humans captured by the Masters can be 'reprocessed into clones' by which they probably mean their DNA is scrambled and invasive cybernetics are implanted.

BioPsychers: Specially cloned Bioroid triplets who pilot the Bioroid Invid Fighter. The cybernetics are even more invasive to allow for 'shared thought' and 'shared responses'. The only thing that slows them down later is when their mecha begin running low on Protoculture.

Bioroid Terminators: I offer these as a special 'elite' triplet clones. Used as Special Forces as well as bolstering Ships Security (they guard the Muses), they are kinda like futuristic Marines. In all probability, they can pilot Bioroids. Basically think something like the Roman Praetorian Guards or even the Imperial Royal Guards from Star Wars.

This a fun issue since you could engineer anything....on the genetic level. it's like they left them open for GM's to do as they please or just forgot to balance it out on there own.

Personelly I like the former...it allows better RPing and better options...
