If you really want to play a 'good' cyberknight go with scrupulous. If it were me, given the makeup of the group, Id be more inclined to play a fallen knight of Aberrant alignment.
Personally, I think that we have a duty as role-players to try to anchor each other to reality a bit. To keep other gamers from being complete freaks and weirdos, or even psychopaths, if we can. Killer Cyborg

Toc Rat: The Col. wants us to install what in his tank?!
Col.'s Driver: A cigarette lighter so he can plug in his cellphone charger.

I'd say go with Scrupulous, and choose a Disposition that compilments the style and attitude of character you want.
when you get right down to it, Sentinel's right.~Uncle Servo.

Sentinel. you'll be always loved by the German Princess.~Nelly

That's twice in one day Sentinel has cleaned up my mess.~The Galactus Kid.

That's the best place to start. Otherwise, listen to Sentinel~lather

Listen to the Sentinel...he speaks truth.~ Shadyslug

Sentinel you have the biggest sig I've ever seen~Natasha

Go through Seige of Tolkeen 4: Cyber-Knights again. Remember the disposition of their lifestyle. Cyber-Knights are primarily the force that is supposed to be aligned to no one and everyone. In a group of primarily evil/selfish characters, your Cyber-Knight would be at constant ends. You should reconsider playing one. You could choose an evil alignment, but then your character would more then likely be fallen, and I think that doesn't make too much sense, a Cyber-Knight at low level who just wasted his mentor's time and effort for years. Consider another O.C.C. first. However, if you would like to play the Cyber-Knight, i'd recommend chosing a selfish alignment that leans toward good natured things. As time progresses, and he spends more time with those of questionable reason, he could slowly decend down the levels of selfishness unto abberant, the honorable evil. However, I personally believe that this alignment should be for characters weathered in experience and hardship, not first levelers.

-An Abberant Rogue Scholar: dedicated to collapsing the CS, and will use any means necessary
-An Anarchist Brutal-Killer: doesn't go out of his way to hurt people, but has no problems with killing, especially for money or if people represent a threat to him
-An Unprincipled Juicer: acts more like Anarchist, well, like a typical Juicer. His reaction in most cases is to draw guns and start blasting.
-An Aberrant Gunfighter: he summed up his character's disposition as that of Marv from Sin City

These guys are going to go along great with an scrupelous character.
Some internal conflict in the party is good, as long they don't shoot each other in the back. Thats not good.

Spelling aside, agreed. Every group should have an actual good guy. Especially groups composed of 'badass heroes who walk the line between good and evil', it's always nice to have one guy who is basically good.

Besides, if you're going to play a cyber-knight, you might as well play a cyber-knight. Becoming a fallen cyber-knight is something you should play into. Starting off as a Lv. 1 fallen knight is just like playing a supercharged bandit.

The Sovereign wrote:Yeah, good advice all around. I think I will go for Scrupulous and try and influence the other characters. It will be a nice change from the nearly psychotic Line Walker. I believe we have decided to set the game near the end of the Siege on Tolkeen, but before Free Quebec becomes a sovereign nation, it's important to the guy who's GMing next for some reason. If I really want to go selfish/evil later, we can have some adventures in Tolkeen and my Cyber-Knight will become bitter and withdrawn. So essentially, I'd be stealing the plot of Knights of the Old Republic 2. :D I don't know why I want to be a Cyber-Knight really, they just seem really cool from the new artwork and background in the book. I've always liked playing psychics and although Cyber-Knights aren't really the most powerful ones, they have enough skills and abilities to make up for it.

Unintentionally, I ended up taking nearly every physical skill and WP, but I remembered to take Basic Math (a given), and I took Fishing and Haiku to be interesting.

I hate it when I get character class in my head that just doesn't seem right for the campaign. It usually means that I read a book involving that class recently. Should read psi-scape, play a burster.
:)
Almost doesn't count; except in horseshoes, tiddly-winks, and hand grenades.
