Pleasure bunneis come in both genders. How do you think they reproduce.

Reproduction is a side affect of "Pleasuring".

Not all forms of "pleasuring" lead to reproduction, and those that do will only if you're not carefull.

IMO, Daryl Hannah's role of Pris in Blade Runner lends to a model of what a pleasure bunnie's dispositon may be.

It's not as bad as you think.

Pleasure bunnies have perfect human looks. apart from the fact that they have white hair and pink eyes, they are absolutely indistinguishable from a normal human. (except for the fact that they are all drop dead gorgeous.)

I found the Pleasure Bunnies to be an interesting role-playing opportunity, though not for the obvious reason. These are creatures who can alter their body chemistry in interesting ways to produce a given response from another being. They can even make others permanently obsessed with/attracted to them.

Imagine the potential of this species as an adversary for a group of heroes.

That's why I made one as a femme fatale for a HU game.

Since we're on the topic of pleasure bunnies....

"...We can only assume that someone decided it would be amusing, or profitable, to create 'bunnies' as human sex toys."

-snipped directly from the pleasure bunny description. One can assume that if it's put that way in print than you can probably argue the finer points here.

The most logical use characterwise is as a spy/agent of some sort who uses his/her *ahem* ..talents to accomplish their mission. Pick a Weapon Proficiency, add a Hand to Hand Skill and you basically have James Bond without gadgets.

It's mostly conjecture on my part but since they mate for life and they are bunnies after all, then you don't really need to think about them reproducing with humans or other species. Why need that when a pair of bunnies in love can probably create a healthy population of offspring all by themselves. Hell....imagine triplets as a minimum litter with a 6 month gestation period. Not much of a stretch.

From a building a character standpoint, Pleasure Bunnies are great. They already come with full human everything, at Size Level 8 to boot. Advanced Vision & Advanced Hearing to start, along with the reading body language, pheremone powers AND the ability to bulk up (up to +7 PS) and you've got a decent framework right there. The 20BioE is icing on the cake. And you can hide the not-normalness with contact lenses and hare dye. ;)

If you want a bunny with depth so you can 'roleplay'...through in a dose of the Pinnochio mythos (i mean the be a real boy part......but the other part would be funny too).

Most interesting pleasure bunny character I ever read about was on RPOL. Some guy had written up a male pleasure bunny that was part of the Brotherhood of the Phoenix. The qoute that best summed him up was "I may be a pleasure bunny, but I ain't your luv bunny." Priceless

Whoa! Deja Vu. I was briefly in a game on RPOL as a male pleasure bunny and the game was recruiting for The Order of the Phoenix.

Now I'm gonna have to go back and check to see if it was me cause I can't remember.

And if Rali is around, I'd love to get back into that game.

I've been working on a supers setting with a significant population of anthro animals. Just like in RL there are humans who are attracted to them. Racists among to human population refer to them as "Furverts." While some in the Anthro animal communities scornfully refer to mutants who like humans as "Skinchasers." Anytime you have a group who looks different, you'll have racists.

While I definitely wouldn't be racist toward mutant animals if they existed, I can't honestly say if I would find them attractive. I just don't know because they don't exist. I know that I like 'furry' artwork to the extent that I have several (tasteful) pieces framed on the walls of my computer room, but that's a far cry from having a living breathing cat girl (or dog girl) in the same room. for all anyone knows, all the 'cues' would be wrong. humans are turned on by a combination of visual, scent and (eventually) tactile cues that combine to produce a state of arousal. most likely there would be some people who would fall in love (or lust) with anthro animals, but I have a feeling it would be a fairly small percentage of the population.

Yup, more romantic that way.

It worked for Shakespeare and netted Titanic a bajillion dollars, so who am I to argue?

Shakespeare did it way better than Titanic though.

No arguement there.

And Kalinda, have you ever heard of the "Extinctioners" comic series? It sounds somewhat similar to what you're working on.

I saw a little bit about it way back in about 95, but wasn't aware that it ever got off the ground. I'll look for it.
