Psi hounds mostly, so I guess I'd fall into 'Human Level PCCs/Mages.'

Same here... the last three Rifts characters I've played have been:

1.) a Dog Boy turned Rogue Scholar
2.) a Psi-Tech with a penchant for speed
3.) an elven Battle Magus

Cool, another dog boy Rogue Scholar. :D

My favorite character (and namesake on the boards.) is a Psi hound Rogue Scholar who focuses on the lore skills and teaches people how to protect themselves against supernatural evil critters.

Someone has not seem some of the book legal charaters that Mule used to come up with

lets see

Level 1

123,000 MDC 24 attacks +15 to dodge +3 to auto dodge +7 to hit and does 1dD6+8X100MD with each hand to hand atack.

47,000 MDC, 250 PPE, 41 ISP, +9 to dodge, + 15 to hit, and could use a modified boom gun as a side arm

both of thoes are a Race + ONE OCC and in the second case had no access to any spell over 5th level.

I will, ah, let you figure out how he did it.

its more fun that way.

Generally I like to play non-mage, non-psychic OCC humans that have some degree of psychic powers.
That doesn't seem to be an option though.

Depends a lot on the campaign, I don't mind really so long as I have at least one small power of some kind

My current character is a 4th level Undead Slayer
You're all just a bunch of whinging children.

Whichever OCC interests me at that time. Not usually into the totally combat based ones though (GlitterBoy, Juicer etc.), anything that has a wide range of abilities whether they be magic, psychic or physical skills.

I usually GM though anyway so I don't get to play one character much.
The word "THAN" is important. Something is "better than" something else, not "better then", it's "rather than" not "rather then".

Dog Boys (and Grrls) rule! :D

Well, them, and really weird home-made mid-level DB critters. I kinda like both. Can I vote for both? :)

Mid-power supernatural... fallen cosmo-knights.
Eyes without life, maggot-ridden corpses, mountains of skulls... these are a few of my favourite things.

Whatever interests me most and fits in with the campaign.

I've played everything from the vagabond to the adult dragon.
