larry.

nothing says your name has to be reflective of what your powers are.

my screen name was based on an Boss NPC from an old HU run. got nothing to do with his powers.

Meteor. Sounds like he could really wallop you with a flying ram. That name invokes a fire image... maybe Projectile?

I concur. My favorite HU character (a flying brick, invulnerability and sonic flight) called himself Extemporaneous Man... 'cause he never planned anything, just sort of made it up as he went.

Hmmmm backstory, he doesn't have a whole lot sofar, I wanted a name before I push him too far into play, so far all he has done is the beginning "stop muggings & streetgangs" type stuff, not much experince with powered opponents. :-D He's scrupulous, ummm, I didnt drop any WP's on him because his powers seemed gearedowards hand to hand so I didnt think he wouldeven learn to use them. In his skills, I made him a linguistics freak w a bunch of languages so that he could support himself w translating things & not go into the office trying to explain his latest bulletwound.

His mutant powers arose sort of late but he will gain a few as he levels (don't know what), like the flight power is brand new to him.

I just thought I'd check here because its such an active & imaginiative forum. I dont want to end up with a name like "The Manhandler" :-o  :-o

Here a few you coud use depending on the characters' nationality:

Iarn Greipner ("iron gauntlet"). This was the name given to Thors' Gloves.
Tien Tsueh :(Chinese) See N&SS.
Airstrike (I like this name for an American or a Brit).
Pugilist.

Consulting the thesaurus, you could probably come up with others. While I don't feel that a name has to be perfectly indicative of all of a characters abilities, it should somehow tie into the characters' thematic concept.

10. Come up with a special effect for his powers if the GM will let you. Maybe he glows when he flies. Maybe his fist glows when he touches somebody. Maybe there's a noise that one of his powers makes.
If you can come up with a cool special effect, pick a name from there.

Dweezle Zappa??

Moon Unit??

Do those work?

For the child of a rock star, sure.

I'm sure we've all heard some pretty far out names: Zoey Bowie comes to mind.

I had wanted to name my son "Cool Moe Dee", but my wife had something to say about that.

He's a mutant right?
Be sure to give him a couple of unusual characteristics.
Check out some pictures of wyvern: you should get some from mythology books and websites.
