It would depend on the nature of the beast...

Most purely organic creatures would have little more resistance to a vacuum than would a normal human.

Non-organic creatures may or may not be able to ignore it.

Generally, it would likely be a function of the creature's physical density. Additionally...creatures from worlds with higher atmospheric pressures would take damage faster.

According to GURPS Space, a human - properly prepared - can last something like a minute before the absence of an atmosphere and other concerns overwhelm the victim. Hey, when you have a $2-3000 RPG library, you might as well use it how/whenever you can! :D

I'm thinking PE in minutes for the amount of time a supernatural creature can hold their breath, and I think that's in line for like a Seljuk or Catyr.

never hold your breath. the pressure change will rupture the lungs.

you actually want to exhale everything, you can operate for a minute or two before the dissolved O2 in you blood runs out.

and you don't have to worry about freezing, vacuum is a terrible heat transfer enviroment. you have more to worry about with the UV from the sun.

I think Mutants in Orbit had a skill called "Vacuum Survival" or something similiar to that. I don't have it to double-check any longer. If someone can confirm that it is you might want to check that out and then adjust based on that for a MD/supernatural creature.

True...but I don't think the vacuum survival / related are in the GMG.

Could be wrong though...I tend to gloss over the skill sections I'm not looking for.
