Ramsay's had a rep for feeding vegetarians samples, then zinging them that they were eating meat(and to people who don't look as if they have a bison's build and temperment, just to prove what an all-grass diet can do). I'm not vegan myself, and don't ask me to give up bacon, but that kind of casual cruelty warrants a plate of Chile Con Carnage, no?

Karen Forest-Walker "And for the discriminating tastes I am making a couple of my Native dishes, but the ingredients are impossible so I had to make a couple substitutions.... The best I could do was fricasseed beetle with Napalm sauce, a tossed salad with arsenic, and ammonia Vinaigrette, and for the Piece De Resistance my personal favorite... A chocolate icecream with a sauce made with well aged Vino de Protoculture Aged 1000 years (it was a Very good year) this is a wine made with flowers of the flower of life and fermented and then aged ....
(if anyone asks yes she is using napalm salvaged from missiles for the "napalm sauce" there is enough arsenic to kill a normal human (if the ammonia doesn't do the job) and if they somehow survive to try the icecream... the protoculture in the "sauce" has enough mutagenic properties that you could get multiple sets of mutant somethings from it...
and the scary part is she doesn't realize that there is anything wrong with her menu. )

guardiandashi wrote:side note on Karen...
Well I will have to give a little background on her for people to understand Why she seems a little crazy about cooking.
first of all she is not a chef, and even though she has been knocking around the megaverse in campaigns, she hasn't quite figured out that humans aren't like her people.
Karen comes from a world from a battletech universe, but from a planet several thousand light years from earth. They developed approximately Clan level technology independently and they have some beyond that level tech.
the whole "house" is populated by ~human sized "dragons" from Dungeons and dragons.
Karen Happens to be a Green dragon (read up on their resistances and immunities if you are curious) but she was one of the head scientists/engineers at their primary 'Mech design and testing facility so she focuses on tech stuff. Her importation into palladium was when she was testing a "grav tank mecha" (what Robotech would call a veritech, that was essentially a veritech hover tank except that it weighs ~85 metric tons, carries (carried) 4 particle plasma cannon, and was powered by either a high end fusion reactor, or had a fusion-antimatter reactor (antimatter boosted fusion reactor) I honestly don't remember at this point.
the point being "cooking" is not her focus R&D and "tech" is of course in some ways that makes tossing her into a "food battle" even funnier in a way.
