you do realize that Sarah "spiking" any ball is likely to have lethal consequences for one of several things?

possibility 1 ball explodes because she hit it too hard
possibility 2 ball becomes a lethal projectile (potentially causing MDC damage to struck targets)
possibility 3 ball misses anyone... and because of possibility 2 (mdc dealing projectile) goes through facility barriers.... you know like walls, floors ceilings etc.

Given Edwards' past as a mercenary, I would not be surprised if he;d been to Ranapur or encountered some of the international heavy-hitters of BL.

On the other hand, he's been whacked so many times in these threads that he may just be reacting to the implication that anything in his life now is 'cute/adorable'+'harmless'.

Ya' know, for two people who were opposed to each other in life, Edwards and Kyle seem very much linked, fate-wise, in their afterlives. But aside from hating the Hunters(at one point of other) and an unhealthy obsession with Minmei, and maybe some serious self-serving egomania, they're not alike at all. Edwards is as self-serving militaristic as one can be(the guy was a mercenary who joined the establishment when he saw where the post-Visitor money was going), Kyle was a feckless anti-establishment punk with no real plan or sense of reality of the situation at all. Edwards corrupted his corner of the establishment to serve his own ends, while Kyle JOINED the establishment, although he seems to have quickly gone off-reservation to go after Minmei.
