It's also more intellectual a cogitation than "...trout..."

heh that anime (after watching the 1st episode) kind of reminds me of the general story of the "Kris Longknife" series by Mike Shepherd to give you an idea the series titles start out:
Mutineer, Deserter, Defiant, (training Daze 3.5) Resolute, Audacious...

Now that's an interduction.

Which is why his translations show a deepness, or inanity, lacking in most cats.
Not that either does him any good in the situations he finds himself in, except perhaps as a mental distraction from how much gawdawful pain he's about to find himself in.
It's also more intellectual a cogitation than "...trout..."

as the cat appears next to the river barely in sight of Charon's ferry landing...

Edwards Et all... What happened to you?

"not quite sure." first this 1 ton Bengal tiger "pounced on me, and crushed my ribs to powder." Then I got stomped on a couple times by this thing

And when I started to get up from that the next thing I knew I was standing in a street where I could just barely see this huge building (it might have been a spaceport) I just was trying to get my bearings when I saw this enormous green flash in the sky, and the next thing I knew I was here....

Marty's going to be mad at you for that....Those Shemartians* may be robots, but they're the closest Marty's had to female companionship in centuries. He blows up planets when he's mad...

*Honestly, aside from the eyelashes and the metal brassieres, it's kinda hard to tell at a distance that they're FEMALE, let alone robots.
