Stats? Not bloody likely; it's Conversion Corner.
And yeah, New Detroit bought it in the Rain of Death(even with a cyberpunk tech base, combat cyborgs and SPARTANs on Earth's side, the Grand Fleet still managed to get Earth in its sights). However, Officer Murphy likely survived and was instrumental in the local recovery and rescue efforts.

Kind of figured that. Though if someone did them and sent them to me, I would not might getting them that way.

TimeLoop:
Dolza: #"Get me Commander Breetai at once!"#
"Sorry, Commander Breetai is not on the bridge at this time. He is currently in his quarters."
#"Then connect me to his quarters! At ONCE!"#
Dolza thought that the communications tech seemed stranegly reluctant to comply, but after a noticeable delay did do so.
The screen in front of Dolza finally resolved itself to show Commander Breetai.
#"Breetai! What is the meaning of this!? Why aren't you on your bri...bri...bri..."#
Breetai is stark naked, wearing only a strange amulet around his neck.
#"Breetai...what's that around your neck?"#
"This? It's a mandala." Breetai's fingers go 'v'. ""Peace, man."
That's when Dolza realizes Breetai's not alone. There's a ....a naked FEMALE behind him.
#"...what are you doing, Breetai? Why is that ...that...female...in your quarters?!"#
"I'm having make-up sex with my wife."
#"...make-up sex?...Wife?"#
"Yes, we're making it up as we go along."
Meanwhile Kazianna Hesh-Tul is rubbing Breetai's shoulders and nibbling his ear.
"Any other questions? No? Good night then, Lord Dolza. Now honey, how about..."
Breetai clicks the communication off. leaving Dolza staring at the screen pop-eyed and nearly brainless in shock.
#"...wife....?! Wi...wi....wi....wi....?!"#

yeah baby.....

Plus, having 'awakened' early in the Time Loop, Breetai's made some changes...while he couldn't affect really gross changes he did do the following:

1) Added a substantial amount of uncoded information to Zor's database for the Earthlings/micronians to find, including a brief history of the 'future', the pros and cons of Protoculture, comprehensive summaries of the strategic and tactical state of the Zentraedi, the Robotech Masters, and the Invid, and when to reasonably expect to encounter them, and Rick and Lisa's wedding photo-album(gotta love stuff-space) just to screw with the Terrans, even if nobody else there has 'awakened' in the Loop("Admiral Hayes, you gotta see this!").

2) Forged orders sending Khyron on a suicide mission against Optera...and incidentally programmed Khyron's flagship to make a relativistic missile kamikaze run on the planet as soon as it came out of Fold("What?! We're locked on a WHAT course...?!").

3) Made sure Azonia was bound and gagged and locked in Khyron's closet at the same time of aforementioned kamikaze run("MMmfpttt!").

4) Got ahead of the SDF-1's flight path and took a Salan Scout Sloop to Earth on a secret 'recon' mission, where he and a select team of micronized operatives secretly landed on Earth, did some trading, and bought enough various contraband to corrupt a substantial portion of Breetai's fleet. Also got officially married to Kazianna in Las Vegas(to quote Reverend Jim: "For the glamour.")

5) Sabotaged Dolza's command/control center to make sure his corrupted fleet would not immediately be hunted down and destroyed by Dolza, if and when Dolza got out of his quarters, which were boobytrapped to subject him to an eternal loop of various micronian media piped in(I'll let readers decide what sort of media and its schedule---personally I'm leaning towards a combination double-barrel strike of hardcore adult and 'My Little Pony' reruns).

6) Sometime later, Breetai arranges for a Zentraedi ship(fitted with a transponder so the SDF-1 doesn't blow it out of the sky upon deFolding into the Solar System) crammed with military surplus and, if the manpower can be spared(from fighting the Invid, loyalist Zentraedi, and the Robotech Masters), a skeleton crew of corrupted Zentraedi 'seeking asylum'. If Miriya Parino has 'awakened' this Loop, it's her mission. If she hasn't, she's ordered on it. If she refuses, she goes micronized, and locked in stasis with only a toothbrush for a personal possession.

7) Steal a Robotech Factory Satellite. Soonest. Even if it means pushing Reno out an airlock for a long walk to the nearest star system.

But seriously...a cyberpunk Earth like Bubblegum Crisis would appear at first to be more than a match for the Zentraedi....once they got their particle beam satellites turned around. The problem is, the world's response would be to turn to the military industrial complex, which is dominated by GENOM, to save them from alien attack. GENOM would immediately gear up to mass-produce space-mobile Boomers that could match any Zentraedi mecha attack force for numbers and quality, and that's not counting the hordes of power armor and battlemovers piloted by hopped-up 'borged soldiers that would be bringing up the rear. And let a fusion-boomer loose on a Zentraedi ship? :frazz:
..and that's all it would take for Dolza to cut his losses and enact the 'micronian contamination' protocols to counter the literal contamination of his ships by GENOM nanites out to take over alien technology and bring it home. Stand off at a distance and glass the planet.
And it gets worse if somebody like Largo uses the military build-up to pull a Cylon/Skynet and take over the entire military infrastructure with a few deep mole programs, toast the fleshies, then turn to taking over the alien fleet and starting his own galactic empire. It might end up with the remains of the Robotech Masters, the Invid, and the Haydonites forced into an uneasy alliance to fight the common foe of Galactic Largo.

Similarly, there would be a lot less resistance to glassing planets and slaying other Zentraedi in a universe where the xenomorphs are loose. 'Don't go near those planets and stay in space' would be the protocol.
The Yautja(Predators) might find the Zentraedi good hunting, if they can get past the mecha and the get aboard the ships...Similarly, claiming the heads of the Robotech Masters would be worth big points, though the Invid might be a bit more of challenge given their collective intelligence. Tirolian Terminators versus Predators would be the order of the day, with a vicious rivalry between the two civilizations.

See freaking awesome!!. But I think you give the Boomer vs. Zentradi mecha too much on the Boomer side. Boomers and the Knight Sabers are on the level of Cyclones and the weapons that Battle Pods and Veritechs carry would rip through them. The seemingly fragile state of Battle Pods is becuase you have equivalent scale weapons like GU-11 Gunpods being used on them. Now if they were fusion boomers... that is something completely different and horrific. It would be interesting a fusion boomer with a Veritech vs. a Zentradi.

But see the mix would be freaking great and of course you'd have to mix some Blade Runner in there not just because there needs to be cops that aren't ADP but because well heck BGC is a big nod to BR anyway.

THIS deserves more info! You could get a LOT of clout if you showed back up at the 'ol lizard homestead with a Zentraedi skull and spine to add to your collection. I would say that you were as grizzled as "Bob the Predator" (what we call him, for some reason) from AvP II... you would still get smoked by a Zent platoon...but lets just say you could kill a Zent officer (although even a grunt would be good for some bragging rights), that would be at least as much of a coup as Predalien or maybe a young hive queen...

For my money, I see the Preds as being like the Drednoks of the Megaverse...they kill and hunt all the time, it is what they do...people you really don't like, but if you want to send a message to someone, you hire them and sit back and relax as the heads start to roll (literally)...

Well if you toss in BR, remember how much of the military in BR is composed of Replicants...and frankly a military run and composed of more than a few Roy Batty's would kick a lot more @$$ than emo-boy Rick Hunter and 4-Eyes Max Sterling...the only character in ROBOTECH that could really compete with Roy would be...um, Roy (Fokker) on a tactical level and Gloval on an Operational/Strategic level...

As for the Zent's vs a BR style replicant military, they would actually be very bloody affairs, since the replicants can be replaced a lot faster than humans and they would actually attempt to damage the Zent fleet instead of just running home to Earth.

Just my opionion...

Maybe we should set up a petition to have Orguss localized in North America since 17 out of 35 episodes were dubbed.

I'm reluctant to tackle Orguss because the guy who largely inspired my interest in Robotech Xovers, Stan Bundy, has them as part of his LGSA setting. I have yet to even consider approaching him about what would happen if the United Earths Government ran into the LGSA(although, happily, while one LGSA character has commented about one day 'adding a coupla Evangelions' to his collection of mecha, while the UEsG already HAS! :D :D :D :bandit: ).
I'd actually done a tentative c------- of Orguss II as a gameable universe, but that's not fit for these forums. Actually that universe could have spawned, despite the best efforts of the Colonel to achieve a restorative separation, several alternate universes where things didn't go according to plan(Nataruma ran into somebody else in her escape, the universe got pasted, the time/space bomb fizzles but the doomsday machine still gets kacked, the whole place gets visited by an entirely new set of alternate universes, etc...).

If the SDF-1 DOESN'T crash on Earth in 1999, but keeps jumping around the galaxy, and Earth doesn't go apocalyptic in the interim(the GCW just becomes the sort of smoldering nation-crushing brush wars that we see play out in Classic Cyberpunk, Heavy Metal's Netherworld, BGC, Appleseed & Ghost in the Shell, Space: Above and Beyond, etc...) that means another 10-50 years for the Robotech Masters' empire to collapse in, running itself dry, resulting in either its fall to the Invid or maybe Dolza turning on his Masters. By the time Humanity gets out into space using its own technologies, they could start running into splinter elements of the Zentraedi fleet strung out along Zor's Fortress's trail, low on power and desperate for supplies, rogue units gone pirate, or Tirolian refugees. The aliens' technology is still potent enough to give the Terrans problems, but we're not talking large well-coordinated enemy units with intact logistics coming at the Terrans. Just a few very powerful raiders who leave a few tantalizing clues when they blow up or try to communicate, giving the colonists and colonial military nightmares and headaches. Roy Batty might not have been fighting colonial separatists or corporate pirates, but ZENTREADI out there in the deep reaches.
Then after that, the SDF-1 comes boring straight in past Sol System's defenses, bypassing the colonies and breezing through the orbital defenses(such as they are) to crashland on what might be one of the few unclaimed/developed pieces of Earth real estate left...That's when it starts going pear-shaped.

Actually that universe could have spawned, despite the best efforts of the Colonel to achieve a restorative separation, several alternate universes where things didn't go according to plan(Lipumura ran into somebody else in her escape, the universe got pasted, the time/space bomb fizzles but the doomsday machine still gets kacked, the whole place gets visited by an entirely new set of alternate universes, etc...).

Do you PMing me some of that for info so I could try incorporating it in my AU?

-STS

Ah but I would think that the Replicants would be foot soldiers, cannon fodder. The first thing the U.N. Spacy sends out. Then they send in the RDF/REF with humans because no one ever trusts an artificial human... or robot for that matter. I figure the battles would be something more like the movie version of Starship Trooper's Marines.

In which case we see TWO changes of mind in mid-war; first, the commanders and soldiers who have to first see their replicant troopers as human beings, and then having to come to grips with the idea that the Zentraedi are essentially human beings(just very BIG and socially naive) , in order to win a moral victory.

The same way I feel the last five times you asked this same question.
Express your own opinions first. Make a case for your views. Be prepared to defend your position.

Yep. The WH40K universe is one of the few universes so far that is considered so 'hot' that the UEsG essentially closed the dimensional door on them and is NOT getting involved or anywhere near them(The Reasonable Marines kindly told them 'stay out if you value your lives, your sanity, and your income...too many interdimensional travelers wind up crippled and broke from obsessively spending their time and money buying and painting little plastic figurine idols..').
However, the Game of Pain has taken on a life of its own, so it's POSSIBLE that guest stars from even proscribed universes like the WH40K universe may show up for brief appearances. And Gideon Ravenor's a bit of a heretic, since he secretly consorts with the Eldar for information, so he just might be open to showing up on some 'alien' program like the GoP.

Sounds good. When are you going to submit your writeup? How are you going to work all of those into the same universe/storyline?
And by that, I don't mean "I crossover x and y and z". I mean something like a full plot outline: "I have -b- character doing this, as (blank), and s/he comes into contact with chacter D during a battle between (Faction F) and (Faction G)(precipitated by the actions of character L or event M). The two(character B and character D) then go on to do (a massacre of their associates, attempted assassination of each other, plot the destruction of character X, discover element F, and/or make beautiful bedroom music).

As it stands, Gaby, you're not really selling the crossovers you're tossing out. You got to breath life into them, show that you CARE about your ideas, not just kicking them to the curb with the old newspapers, to be picked up and tossed into the ashpile of lost dreams.

What I'd like to see as a crossover, Gaby, is you take some time to submit your own ideas as a STORY(a vignette, a humorous aside, a gag reel, whatever)), something of your very own, that shows what YOU think and what you think is cool and how. What literary trickster or playwright lurks in Gaby? I'd rather you gave us a single story to amuse us with your particular take and imagination, than a dozen questions asking our opinions. You'll get more feedback, I think you'd find, if you did that.

Tiresia, Homeworld of the Robotech Empire:
“You are certain?”
“Yes, milord.”
“Destruction is complete?”
“Total. No survivors.”
“Nothing can be salvaged?”
“No, milord, it was total destruction.”
“You may go...Your presence is no longer needed.”
With that, the clone Guard Triad bowed in synch to the Robotech Master triumvirate and exited the room, entering the security lock to the Masters’ sanctum. The grim-faced Shaizan looked to his mirror-brethren, Dag and Bowkaz. They nodded with equally grim faces in return. A long-nailed hand emerged from a robe sleeve and touched a console on the floating Protoculture Cap the three Masters orbited about. From the direction of the annex-lock there came the hiss and slam of reinforced doors, a sizzling and a muffled scream as the hapless Guards were vaporized. Another command and a new set of Guards was ordered from the clone vats.
Word must not get out of the latest catastrophe to strike the Robotech Empire.
The Master Gene Banks, heart of their super soldier breeding program, repository of the genes they needed to keep their living weapons systems alive and vibrant. Destroyed, Irradiated, burned by nuclear fire. A dirty little tactical device, that bore all the signs of the Disciples of Zor, and undoubtedly smuggled in by some last, undetected, sympathizer of that accursed rebel movement, the last gasp of the pre-Robotech Tirolian Republic. But their last gesture has done more damage to the eugenically-pure Empire than their brethren on the rebel worlds had done in nearly a century of space warfare against the Empire’s legions.
Now the Robotech Masters, second only in power to the Robotech Elders, set to the work of marshalling their highest mental powers, pooling their great minds, and setting their resources to dealing with this crisis and addressing the real problem...saving their hides...
The Robotech Masters weren’t the only ones with a predilection for slaying the bearers of bad news....

Bowkaz cursed; the destruction of the gene banks had wiped out nearly a century’s worth of selective cloning work; the death of the loyal technicians had deprived them of the means to rebuild the work. Though the Zentraedi production program could go on with what soldiers had already been produced, the improvement of the breed was delayed, if not outright stalled. And the improvement of the Zentraedi was an absolute necessity if the reports of increased Invid inroads on the borders of the Empire were any indication. The whole situation had the potential of becoming far more serious if something wasn’t done.
The Master said as much to his colleagues.
Dag agreed. Something would have to be done to reverse and repair the situation. But what? The Robotech Masters were not themselves scientists, they were bureaucrats both by genetics and training; lab work was best left to the narrow-minded dispositions of Scientist triumvirates...and those lost in the explosion were the best and brightest of their decanting....
Shaizan chimed in with his own concerns, which, by token of their triumvirate, were ALL their concerns; whatever they had to do they would have to do it FAST, before the Robotech Elders decided to fix the blame for the lastest setback, when they learned of it. But who could they find on such short notice, and with the experience and expertise they needed?...

“Cabell.” The Masters said in unison.
The old doddard, another relic of the old Republic, kept around at the Elders’ insistance, might actually be of use for once.
“We’ll have HIM deal with this...”
“Produce a new generation of supersoldiers to reinforce our Zentraedi legions....”
“Or else...”
“It will be his responsibility..”
“His fault if he fails...”
“And OUR success if he succeeds!”
“We are in consensus.”
“Now, who tells him the news?”
“ME! ME!”
“Shaizan, control yourself.....We’ll roll lots for it...”

Cabell walked back to his quarters through the gathering darkness. Calm and detached he might have seemed on the surface, looking with all the wisdom of his three hundred-plus years, but under it all he was running around in circles, wringing his hands in frustration, and not a small amount of mounting terror, certain that those three hundred plus years were coming shortly to an end....How the hell was he going to come up with a whole new set of soldier templates that would keep the Masters’ cosmic ambitions satisfied? He’d given up almost all of his cloning research after they’d produced Exedore, first of the Zentraedi. A success in his time, but hardly what the Masters wanted...No, they wanted big and ruthless.....Now he had to supply the Masters’ appetites for even bigger weapons...But HOW? The gene banks had contained the last samples of the most desirable traits of the old ‘wild’, pre-cloning, population...samples taken from statesmen, artists, scientists, warriors...more than a few of them Cabell’s friends, who had resisted the coming of the Masters and the establishment of their Empire, and whose genetic material was saved, ironically, to eventually become the basis of the servents of that very same Empire....With the loss of the banks, Cabell had not only lost a last link to his pre-Imperial life, he had lost the raw material to save his post-Imperial life.....
“Pssst!...wanna buy some grade-A genetic material?” came the unexpected voice from the dark alley Cabell was passing.
“Huh?” The ancient, wise, learned mentor of Zor, co-founder of Robotechnology, and midwife of the Zentraedi articulated as his mental train derailed at the unexpected interruption.
“You look like a man who’s looking for some top-notch genetic material....I just happen to have come into possession of some nice, fresh, feral DNA....”
“WHAT are you offering?!” Cabell couldn’t believe this....it had to be a trick, a test of his loyalty, some bizzare plot to drive him crazy...
“Multiple samples from various humanoid individuals...unique characteristics, high physical marks, major performance potentials...” The figure extended a hand that Cabell could swear was scaled in metal from its dark robes.”Even got neurological material chock full of memory engrams...got persona profiles for all of them too....Take a look....” In the clawed hand was a softly glowing cube of a stasis box, in which a lump of excised cerebral tissue floated...Lines of bright text scrolled up the side.
Cabell decided that this was just too bizarre to be a plot of the Masters....Clever they were, ruthless they were...Loopy, they weren’t, and this was just too plain loopy....What would it hurt to take a look, he thought as he started reading the descriptions on the side of the bio-container.
“Yep....I got warrior-material here, and more...prime talent like you’ve never seen before...and they’re all yours for a small fee....some Protoculture, perhaps?”
Cabell paused in his examination of the scrolling DNA graphics to look at the shrouded figure. “Just who the hell are you? Not that I’m complaining, but I’d just like to know...”
“Who, me? Just your friendly galactic neighborhood life-force sucking...hey, hey, I’m not like that! Be cool!... Dimensional Raider....So, we got a deal?”
Maybe it was the sudden yo-yo from cold terror to sudden hope, however tenuous and unexpected...or maybe it was the quart of Garudan ale the old guy had chugged previously to steady his nerves, the glass of Praxian whiskey to keep it company, and the hip flask of anzoth to chase it all down....
“DEAL!”

One Year Later...

“Look at those physical potentials! They’re off the scale!”
“The response simulations show a marked aptitude for tactical cunning and sophisticated decision making, combined with an obsessive trend in almost all of the specimens...”
“Those obsessions will make them most easy to manipulate...an excellent foresight on your part, Cabell.”
“You have our permission. Begin full scale production of these units at once!”

Three Years Later......

Shaizan, Dag, and Bokwaz faced the Robotech Elders in the stark monumental Great Hall. They were puzzled by why they had been summoned with such urgency by their superiors, and, though emotion had been leeched out of them long ago, they felt a certain nervousness at the tone used to summon them.
“Explanations are demanded.”
...not a good sign...
“For what, milords?”
A servo arm brought a bowl of a greyish-green substance up to the assembled Robotech Masters....It was a substance the Three-Who-Are-One recognized immediately.
“You know what this is.”
“Yes...?”
“Eat it!”
“I do not understand...”
“Eat it!!!”
“It looks like rancid basic nutrient paste...”
“A most unappetizing substance, well below even the notice of our enlightened Master class...”
“EEEEEEAAAAATTTTTTTT IIIIITTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!”
*CRACKLE**THUNDER****
“Mppphhfff...mphpf.”
“What does it taste like!?”
“Mmmphh...umpff....thth...thth tasth goofth!”
“Yes! It does! Doesn’t it! IT”S NOT SUPPOSED TO TASTE GOOD!!!!!!IT’S FUEL FOR BIG, DUMB, LOYAL SOLDIER CLONES! HYDROCARBON-BASED INDUSTRIAL OFFAL!!! FODDER FOR GUN FODDER!!!!AND IT’S COMING OUT OF HALF THE DISPENSERS IN THE GRAND FLEET!!!”
“I still do not understand, milord Elder, we have not been informed of any changes in the diet of the Zentraedi! “
“THIS ISN”T OUR DOING, YOU MORONS! IT’S THOSE NEW CLONES YOU AUTHORIZED!!! ONE OF THOSE NEW FEMALE CADRES YOU DEPLOYED TWO CYCLES AGO HAS LEARNED HOW TO TAMPER WITH THE FOOD PROCESSORS ON THE SHIPS! THEY”RE NOW PRODUCING OVER ONE HUNDRED FIFTY DIFFERENT FLAVORS OF THIS STUFF! THEY’RE EATING BETTER THAN WE ARE!”

“AND IT’S NOT JUST THOSE CLONES EITHER! ALL THE OTHERS ARE ACTING STRANGE TOO!”
(big sweatdrop)
”But we thought you were pleased with them? Their performance pleased you greatly when we first introduced them.....We recall the Shand series....”
“YES, YES! ALL OF THEM REFUSED TO BACK DOWN FROM A CONFLICT! ALL WERE AGGRESSIVE!!! THE SHAND SERIES IN PARTICULAR! IF BEATEN THEY EITHER GO BACK AND KILL THE ENEMY OR FORCIBLY INDUCT THEM INTO THE EMPIRE!!! BUT WE FOUND OUT ‘HOW’..._ZENTRAEDI _AREN”T SUPPOSED TO KNOW ABOUT -THAT-!!!!”
“What is exactly is the ‘how’?” spoke up Dag, before he was telepathically silenced by his brothers. Shaizan leaped into the verbal gap in an effort to change the subject before it got too graphic...
“But the others of the program have been an outstanding success...... the Ran series has proven most successful in detering the Invid from the Spinward frontiers.....”
“ AH, YES, THE FAILED EXPERIMENT IN SHAPESHIFTING! YOU CONVINCED US OF THEIR AGGRESSION...THEY NEVER LOST A BATTLE, YOU REPORTED!...WE BELIEVED YOU!...WE EVEN ALLOWED THEM THEIR OWN FLEET TO AVOID CONFUSION WITH THE MALES AND FEMALES OF THE REST OF THE GRAND FLEET!!! “
“A policy which has worked to our advantage...Their fighting ability is unparallleled!”

“-AND EVERY TIME WE REDEPLOY THEM, THEY INEVITABLY ATTRACT EVERY OTHER FEMALE FLEET IN THE QUADRANT!!! WE’VE HAD MASSIVE FORCE REDEPLOYMENTS WITHOUT OUR CONSENT!!!! OUR ENTIRE STRATEGY FOR THE ANTI-SPINWARD ARM IS -RUINED-!!!!! ”
.........
“WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELVES!!!!!!!!????”
“....”
“.....”
“---Can I have more of this? Hundred fifty flavors you say?”
Shaizan and Dag decided to hell with the Three Who Act as One and made a break for it...

They strike from the sky, in overwhelming numbers, from ships as large as continents. Populations cringe in terror at the sudden appearance of the teeming alien hordes and what they bring to the planets under their dominion...
Clean streets, fresh laundry, immaculate cities....
They never knew what hit them....
“Oh my...an entire galactic cluster? A dark nebula? Better get started then...”

The Invid war swarm stopped in mid flight, hovered, and turned, almost reluctantly it seemed. The Liguaa Scouts looked back at the scattered field of shattered mecha and broken giant bodies their attack sweep had left behind. Cyclopean optics spun and locked on several bodies in particular...Great burned and broken hulks of flesh and armor that had taken the full brunt of the savage onslaught.
Bodies that moved, pulled themselves up, pulled themselves back together, wounds visibily healing in seconds, burned skin regrowing into healthy tissue, fatal injuries proving not so....Within minutes, a company of fully healed Zentraedi warriors, all sharing the same general appearance, stood up and again took arms to defend their post...For the fifth time already...
The rather simple-minded Invid drones couldn’t take this sort of mental abuse...As one the Scout squadron plopped into the ground in a dead faint....

“I am sorry, milord, I cannot provide updates on the status of that squadron....They still have not arrived within the theatre area, or made contact with any of our units.”
Breetai sighed again, the great hiss of frustration and resignation echoing about the cavernous battleship bridge in response to the latest report. The new clone lines the Masters had foisted on them several years ago were incredible warriors, but the flaws they exhibited....for instance, the one that apparently decided to manifest right now....
“Very well...Expand the search sweep eighteen lumina-xerats...If the pickets cannot find them within the next twelve haad, we’ll just have to go on without them. “

Somewhere in Andromeda...
“WHERE THE HELL ARE WE NOW?!”

Enemies and allies of the Zentraedi alike learned to fear the female battalions of the Hammer...
It was perhaps fortunate that the clones of that particular battalion couldn’t resist their own experimentation with the food dispensers aboard their ships. The abandonment of their flagship caused delays in their deployment, though the position of the contaminated wreck had to be carefully tracked, lest it come near any habitable world....

Lone Zentraedi soldier...in long coat uniform...no armor..no weapons...easy pickings..
Okay...didn’t see the laser pistol...must have missed it behind his back at first galnce..
Where did he get the assault rifle?
TWO assault rifles?! Where did he hide THOSE?!
A ROCKET LAUNCHER???!!!
WHAT’S WITH THE BALLS AND CHAINS!!!???
NO-WAY- DOES HE HAVE A TOILET SEAT ON HIM!!! NO WA---

Azonia stared at her new advisor.
“It’s all quite simple...The Masters need the ships and the guns...WE have all the ships and guns...We have the Factories, too....They want what we got, they have to give us something in return....”
....Azonia found her advisor’s words oddly persuasive...Though she could have done without the constantly having to pay off her subordinate with rank privileges every time she wanted a situation update...

The end of the Masters’ Empire was complete with the MAKING of Zentraedi weapons., turned out by the warrior clones themsleves....Spatulas to be precise...BIG Spatulas....After that, it was all down hill....

(Somewhere, Takahashi Rumiko had a massive sneezing fit that had her assistants running for tissues... “Damn fanfic wannabees..” she swore...)

Didn't I already blow Cthulhu up? I guess I need to go get bigger guns. I wonder if I could pull Elder God Demonbane in.

Yeah, well, he licensed his Old Ones franchise before he got poofed. Now we got Cthulumarts popping up all over the place like mutant mushrooms. Really, I have to deal with one more group of Girl SCouts selling shoggoth eggs...

The milintel captain looked at the newly-minted lieutenant standing next to him in the observation blister of the landed spacial/dimensional transport. The atmosphere between them was relaxed, borne of a familiarity between the two men and the lack of any present need for stringent rank discipline observation between the two.
“So, let me get this straight again, Atchison, you get lost in a dogfight with the Haydonites near the Tirol Gate and wound up on a planet that was essentially suffering the aftershocks of some sort of ‘dimensional quake’ sometime in its past?”
“I can’t say I know everything about interdimensional travel and metadynamics, but yeah, that’s the way I heard it, and learned later.”
“And you wound up crashlanding and trying to blend in among the locals who were barely into their atomic age but were messing around with salvaged alien mecha. Then ran into somebody with the means to get you back home.”
“Yeah, I got stuck on that planet for four years. Became a wandering bum and part-time merchant while learning what I could about the place, looking for a way home, and not sticking around any one place where people might not buy my unfamiliarity with local customs. Ran into a local girl with a secret and a need to run away, ended up saving the world, while participating in what amounted to a superdimensional universal reset planned by an old artificial intelligence, lost the girl, and wound up being spat back into familiar space-time only to crashland hard in the middle of a warzone. Not exactly a glamorous homecoming.”
The younger man winced as he turned slightly. Even with the added mass of dress uniform in the way, the captain could make out the pointed edges of bandages and braces. Popping back into UEsG space/time in a rapidly-decaying alien mecha, in the middle of ANOTHER firefight with Haydonite raiders hadn’t been conducive to a happy landing, and only the last gasp functionality of his ejection seat had saved Airman Paul Atchison from doing a fast flip thru MIA-KIA-MIA-KIA and returning to Earth in a small ceramic urn. It HADN’T, though, stopped him from making a grinding reacquaintance with solid ground.
The captain nodded, taking note of the healing burn scars and the fact that Atchison’s formerly dark blonde hair was coming back streaked with a striking silver-gray.
“That the ‘Nataruma’ girl you were talking about when you came to? Must have been really somebody, if that’s the first thing you wanted to know about when you came out of post-op.”
“They put THAT in my file? No, I know, important information. Yeah, fierce and vulnerable at the same time. Hardened and naive, talented, but also clueless. She held me up with an empty gun with no bullets, looking for somebody to get her out of town away from the local goons who’d been holding her prisoner. I just happened to be vulnerable to blackmail and have my own reasons for not wanting to be attracting authority. And I happen to be sympathetic to desperate innocents. I don’t wanna think of what might have happened to her if she’d chosen some other motel room to break into...”
(somewhere else in space-time a young man and an older mercenary sneezed)
“...We bonded under stress back there and, well, if I couldn’t find a way home...worse people I could have settled down with. But the ‘Colonel’ promised her a ticket home, to her ancestral people, and before we could seriously talk about it we had to put its plan into action or we’d all be ashes from some ancient doomsday machine gone wild.”
“The ‘Colonel’...You called him a ‘Mu’ artificial intelligence?”
“As I said in the debrief, ancient artificial intelligences. Reminded me a bit of what little I knew of the Haydonites, but I’m sure that was just an uninformed impression.”
There was a silence between the two men as they each pondered weighty thoughts.
“Another question, Atchison. The eye? Why haven’t you had it replaced yet? Regeneration should be able to grow you a new one right fast.”
Paul absently rubbed at the leather eyepatch covering the pit of his missing left eye.
“Doctors say the Edenii Treatment doesn’t seem to work for me...they’re still puzzled about that. Something about my genetics. And I haven’t set up for a cybernetic replacement yet. Okay, I got a question; I got pulled right out of rehab and recalled to active duty for this mission. Nice of Command to let me keep my posthumous promotion but I doubt the UEEF needs fighter pilots THAT bad. What’s up?”
“You tell me. We just contacted these people a month ago, and lo and behold your debrief got flagged for attention by the contact team for this world-line.” Captain Thompson gestured out the window of the transport ship to the aerospaceport outside, taking in the buildings that showed the signs of human construction, but with the slightly off accents of a wholly different culture. Below and across one could see various human figures, some in UEEF uniforms, others in what had to local garb, walking, occasionally running, here and there grouping and gesturing as the various tasks of a transport hub were carried out. Here an odd-looking vehicle pulled a chain of box-laden trolleys about, over there a hovering container of something else was manhandled into position, and various small vehicles rolled or hovered about.
Atchison squinted at several of the closer figures; men and women in brightly colored jumpsuits, many with ...were those antennae twining out of their hair?
“Oh you gotta be kidding me.”
“Command must think you have SOME familiarity with these people.”
“I was familiar with ONE for about a month and she really didn’t know herself that well either. I don’t see how that translates into ‘knowing’ an entirely new people. Maybe if I ran into her again that might be helpful, but we’re talking space and time here, these may or may not be the same people as hers, hell it might not even be the same TIME, and what are the odds I’d ever run into----oh---oh---oh---oh---oh----”
Captain Thompson looked at the young lieutenant who’d gone sheet white pale, his eye wide, and his face locked in an expression of pure shock.
“What’s wrong, Atchison?”
“...oh bugger me....this can’t be happening...the multiverse is $#!+ing with me......”
”Atchison?!”
The Captain followed his companion’s gaze across the tarmac where an advancing party of Emaan had stopped, milling around an individual in their midst. A young, slender-build long-haired bluette who was standing equally stock-still and gazing back across the distance with a look of shock that was palpable even from this distance.
“...Nataruma...?!”

"Hmmm...we have Gaius Baltar...and Gaius Baltar..."
"?"
"Old-style and new-style."
"Ah...but which one should I take?"
"Take them both. One screams like a girl and the other screams for his invisible girlfriend."
"Allright then, we'll see which one of 'em the new critters take a shine to...come along, you little backstabbers! Not you, Khyron!"
"...should I feel insulted that the micronian didn't choose me?"

"And if Rath's critters go through them two Baltars, well, there's this one..." (Drags out a bald, skinny looking guy)
"Who's he?"
"Marvel Comics' adaptation version of Baltar...trust me, the comic had DANG little in common with the show...This guy got CHOPPED in like the first issue when the Colonies got bombed. Only I reckon the show turned out better than MC an Stan Lee was willing to concede, 'cause they had to bring him back later as a cyborg(kinda lame if you ask me), so here he is."
MC Baltar: (looking sullen) "I don't know what you want with me! I deserve better than this ridicule!"
"'Cause you're a worm, Baltar, a spineless little worm who was drawn without much inspiration or care as the 'random evil near-featureless mook of the week'. Now you could be exactly that, as bait for some serious deepwater fishing, a snack for genetically engineered frankensteins, or you could guest-star on a certain game show, only I don't think you'd last ten seconds before those other guys pushed you down some critter's gullet or used you as a bridge to cross a moat of molten metal."
MC Baltar: "Hey!"
"Oh be realistic, comic-guy; of all the incarnations of the Baltar character, you inspired the LEAST amount of pathos or menace."
"That's not fair! I can be real evil too! You'll regret ever saying that about me! You'll pay, just like those Colonials who laughed at me!"
"I'm quaking in my boots. And I'm already paying; I got pay-per-view for the Game. Come to think of it, quite a few Colonials also have paid accounts, once they learned we had a Baltar special coming up. Isn't that right?"
"From BOTH fleets! Only I think the network was giving away accounts to Colonials, or at least piping it to select RagTag Fleet clubs."
"So you're going to have another fifteen minutes of fame...if anybody remembers you, that is. Those other Baltars, well, they got established reps. If you're lucky, you'll get off easy and get geeked in the first five seconds and go directly back to oblivion."
"...not fair...."

Hmmm..... Let's see what we should use *starts digging through his files*. Maybe the Jackalope? Nah. Too Nicey-nicey. The Jersey Devil? Maybe. But maybe we should go for something more.... Unique. Maybe the latest? The C.C.? That's a possibility But maybe we should go for something a bit more... Unusual. Maybe the one of my prehistorics? *starts to think for a few seconds* NO. I know, we'll use the Insectisaurs. *snaps his fingers* REALEASE THE INSECTISAURS *just as he yells this, a bunch of cages are being brought out with the mentiond creatures in them, all of which are roaring in rage*.

Although, we should also add the Questing Beast to the G.o.D. Just for fun.

Haven't mowed my lawn yet, and winter hasn't set in, so another Garden of Death romp may just be what's called for now.
Yeah, the Baltars and the Dastardly Four, or just one of the two groups?
And taking suggestions for next guest host and guest torturers...

I say that we combine the two groups. That way, they can fight it out to see who should "lead" and who should be the "sacrificial Lamb".

The plane ascended into a bank of clouds. Nothing unusual, though the copilot did mentally note that the clouds seemed to almost glow. Then his mind went blank. Beside him, the pilot and flight engineer both seemed to nod off to sleep at the same time. Yet, the plane seemed to level off, flying smoothly.
Back in the passenger cabin the passengers all went blank-eyed and slack-jawed, the stewardesses slumped bonelessly to the floor. The inflight movie droned on unnoticed and cell phones went static with interrupted service.
Thus nobody noticed the soft thumping outside, then the hiss of cabin pressure from the boarding doors.
Certainly nobody noticed the team of figures, all bundled in heavy hazmat body armor as they trooped down the aisles, weapons and equipment at the ready, scanner wands waving over the motionless passengers. Several of the figures pulled the unconscious flight attendants off the floor, checked them for injuries, and then waved dermal regenerators over any developing bumps or bruises. Their work, however, was incidental.
The majority of the team quickly zeroed in on one passenger, now slumped in his seat over his attache case. Weapons ready, the foremost team members quickly surrounded him, while the others behind and around them raised nozzle-like apparatus. Carefully and deftly, the soldiers prized the case out of the man’s hand, then dropped it into a large box-like device brought up behind them, the box then secured tightly and wrapped in heavy tape. They then began frisking the man, going over him with handheld scanners, and carefully probing through his clothing. Behind them, a whir of analysis gear sounded from the taped box, then a beep of completion. Helmeted and shrouded heads nodded in affirmation. A button on the side of the box was pushed and through a window in the side of the box a swirl of sickly blue vapor could be seen filling its interior. Then a bright flash. The box was then hustled out of the aircraft cabin.
Meanwhile, the man was quickly mummy-wrapped in restraint tape and bundled into a hazmat tent, that was then secured to a stretcher. The whole package was then lifted up and carried out of the cabin after the box under heavy guard. The remaining armored figures then conducted a quick, but thorough, scan of the cabin, coordinated with the scans of teams in other parts of the aircraft. Finally, satisfied with the results, they backed away. A last few stragglers paused on their way out, propped up the flight attendants and backed off as one of their members took out a scroll-like object, opened it up, made several gestures, and uttered several incomprehensible sounds. The object glowed, then momentarily filled the room with a soft bright light, then vanished. The armored figures then hastily backed out of the cabin. Moments later, there was another clank of cabin pressure, and a soft sound of release.

The copilot blinked his eyes as sunlight poured in the cabin window. That cloud layer hadn’t been very thick...at least not as thick as it looked. Now they were in open sky, above the clouds. He turned to the pilot and flight engineer, both blinking themselves at the sudden brightness. Then they returned to their instruments and other work. It promised to be an uneventfaul flight. After that business at the airport, what with the shooting in the airport annex, everybody sure hoped it was.
And it was, at least until they landed. Then they discovered they had a missing passenger. There was no sign of the man who had registered as ‘Doctor Peters’. There had been some vague recollections of somebody matching his description coming aboard the aircraft, but nobody could find him aboard or had any recollections of him leaving. Though his luggage was registered as having been put aboard at the airport, no sign of it was ever found.
The disappearance caused something of a minor sensation and scandal with regards to airport security, especially given the incident at the airport prior to the flight. There were some conspiracists’ and detectives’ efforts to connect the two, but nothing came of their speculations, and in the end Doctor Peters’ disappearance joined such mysteries as the wherearbouts of Jimmy Hoffa and Judge Crater.
Little or no attention was paid to several other events that happened around the same time; the deaths or disappearances of several people, a massive and sudden fire that destroyed a small genetics lab and which was laid at the feet of an ecoterrorist group that was quickly dealt with. Minor headlines that soon faded into the backchatter and white noise of the modern era of information overload.
The time line would diverge, and paradox would be smoothed over as the two timelines that were one assumed separate identities. Here young James Cole would eventually grow past the trauma of seeing a man shot to death in front of him, and life would lurch on for the world’s billions. Over there a handful of survivors huddled in their underground shelters would be rescued before their Earth was subjected to massive decontamination and quarantine.

But for the present, over a thousand miles away from that airliner as it broke into the sunlight, three Goddesses in a renovated temple on the edge of Tokyo breathed a sigh of relief as they felt a sense of satisfaction come over them. They’d found the right people, pointed them at the problem, and it had been taken care of. The loose ends would be taken care of and the worlds would go on in their fashion. But there would be no massive die-off of humanity looming in the future.
The occupants of the temple turned to their respective daily rituals, though the oldest one drifted over to the television set and settled herself down before it. Taking the remote in hand she punched in a sequence not found on the average channel call-up(unless you’re operating a StarGate in non-local dial-up), and sat back as the nexy program came up. For a moment she felt a tinge of guilt about watching this particular program, but squashed it...she was part demon after all, and what was coming up was justice....

He blinked, blinked again. This wasn’t his flight? This wasn’t his airline seat! Where was he? How had he gotten here?
Doctor Peters.” The voice was authoritarian and it wasn’t a question.
He ignored it for the moment. Play dumb.
Doctor Peters, of the Goines Virology Studies Laboratory. You are accused and convicted of the attempted genocide of the human race.”
So that’s the way it was. He’d been snatched off his flight by secret police!
“I don’t know what you’re talking about!”
Your viral cultures that you were transporting have been destroyed. Your laboratory has been eliminated. You have been brought here to be served justice.”
“I do not recognize this court or your authority!”
You have already been convicted. This is not court, it is sentencing.”
“I abide only by natural law!”
Then you shall enjoy the sentence handed down on you. Welcome to the Game of Pain, Doctor Peters; you’ve been sentenced to the Genesis Pit, Garden of Death Edition. Welcome to Nature, red in tooth and claw.”
Then his world went shades of green and blue and brown...and hungry.
