have max in the Quedlaun-rau fight Miryria in her VF-1 (and a FPA appearing in with 'rick/Khyron's' male unit should raise some eyebrows on both sides), fake a loss so Max can get inserted into the SDF-1 as a spy along with whoever gets picked to be the three spies this time around (make it the bridge bunnies!), with all four having the unofficial mission of figuring out who is awake on the SDF-1 side this time around. perhaps have Max go through the motions of the 'take down the ace pilot' routine in an attempt to wake Miriya up.. the wedding would be a wonderful time to look for people acting oddly, as you'd expect a bunch of zentreadi-turned-humans to be..

And Dolza's Kazianna Hesh's 'father' in this universe, taking the role of Admiral Hayes... :D

Has there been a Black Lagoon cross over yet I would love to see that.

I hinted at one in the Franken-Mecha thread, but it hasn't made its way over to this one.

No, wait, I think I suggested a Zentraedi-Hybrid clone of Misato might be active in one of the regions of Baseline NGEarth.

Revy as a Misato-Zentraedi DNA hybrid clone should scare you even more. Her tolerance for alcohol....yoy...

That's in an alternate re-cast universe.
The original xover was that while Misato was in a UEsG hospital in a coma, somebody, probably illegally, used some of her DNA to create a clone, likely as a weapon to use against the UEsG(assuming it was Neo-SEELE who created Revy)...only the clone turned out to be as uncontrollable as the original. By the time anybody in the UEsG notices Revy, SEELE and Neo-SEELE are already pretty much gone.

But for re-cast Revy? If you don't mind a blond, Rook Bartley as the 'wild girl'("Now wait a minute, there's no way I'm showing that much fan service!"). Alternative: Naomi Armitage, since she's already got the hot pants and gun-love.

Dutch? Hmmm...first-thought pick? Vince Grant. Second pick after consideration: Dolza, mainly because it gives the guy more screen time and forces him to actually do something other than stand around and look imperious.

Chang? I'm gonna go the way of mind gorkery and choose Char Aznable, because the thought of an easy-going Char kinda blows the mind. Don't want to cast away from asians? Fine; a less-idiotic Soun Tendo or Master Asia.

Updated my picks, just so you know.
My SCARY choice for Chang would be Battle Angel Alita(the manga)'s Zekk; 'the strongest fist in the universe'. Problem is, he'd be TOO cool and easy going because he could essentially slaughter everybody else barehanded if he went evil.

Dutch? Hmmm...first-thought pick? Vince Grant. Second pick after consideration: Dolza, mainly because it gives the guy more screen time and forces him to actually do something other than stand around and look imperious.

Vince Grant is a great pick for Dutch and so is Armitage, but I would put Alita as Revy.
I see Nene Romanov from Bubblegum crisiss 2032 as Benny or Maya from Eva. My pick for Balilakia has been updated I think Sylia Stingray would be a good choice. We still need a Eda and others.

Alita was my SCARY choice for Revy...But she's not so much shooty basass as slashy badass.

My choice for Eda? Minnie May from Gunsmith Cats.

The fanservice is deadly; while you're eying her tatas, she's unloading her OTHER pair of guns into you...

Now that would be one heck of a battle.
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"

"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."

"As you will it, your Grace."

FFdN already has several ME1&2 x/o RT stories bandying about.
Hrrm...
and most of the Damngun series after F-91 movie kinda make me wanna heave (bad story telling, WORSE characters and plot-holes so huge even Varth Dader's stretch-limo ubermegaeconsized starship could pass through with room to spare), so not touching those dren piles... and heaven forefend we actualy include -gasp- the source anime its self... Macross true (any of them).

Yeah; kinda un-inspired with x-overs right now.

and most of the Damngun series after F-91 movie kinda make me wanna heave (bad story telling, WORSE characters and plot-holes so huge even Varth Dader's stretch-limo ubermegaeconsized starship could pass through with room to spare), so not touching those dren piles... and heaven forefend we actualy include -gasp- the source anime its self... Macross true (any of them).

Yeah; kinda un-inspired with x-overs right now.

It's not so much a matter of tossing out "what about xover with X?'....I can do that blindly paging through any of my anime guides or something like Maltin's guide to movies, and listing whatever my eyes fall upon, or doing free association off the top of my head*...It's making the idea INTERESTING enough to write up or discuss, then write up. Just listing names doesn't strike sparks or sell a concept...

*For example; "Robotech and...
-Sixty Minutes
-Law and Order: Life on the Street
-Married With Children
-Gomer Pyle
-Hunger Games
-Apocalypse Now
-Monopoly
-Fitz Coraldo
-Pride and Prejudice"
-------------
"Trouble rather the Tiger in his Lair,
Than the Sage among his Books,
For all the Empires and Kingdoms,
The Armies and Works that you hold Dear,
Are to him but the Playthings of the Moment,
To be turned over with the Flick of a Finger,
And the Turning of a Page"

Exactly... and as I said; I am completely uninspired right now.
I couldn't even come up with something to elicsit a pained smirk, let alone a decent laugh or inversely, a nod at dramatic tension.

I dream of towers in a world consumed
A void in the sentient sky
I dream of fissures across the moon
Leaves of the lotus rise

I thought it was amusing. :(

Oh well. On to the next bit of trouble.

NCIS and Robotech. NOw this could work. Because being a military show combined with crime drama. I sure Gibbs could hit Tony for some amusing comment. And then Ziva would make Tony jealous by flirting with Roy or Rick. And just seeing Abby is almost worth the crossover by itself.
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"

"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."

"As you will it, your Grace."

That's a start...and shows you're willing to put some thought into it...Keep at it and you can develop it into something.

So true. And specking of interventions, the good guys really need to step in the Hunger Games Universe. Any government that makes kids kill each other on live TV deserves to be curve stomp! :nuke: Ya, a couple dozen Eva's with several hundred veritech escorts showing up at the beginning of that game on live TV would look great.

I take it you've seen it?
UEsG could do a cakewalk, but it would be boringly routine for people who regularly destabilize Evangelion worldlines. Hand the place over to the Invid. Or re-route a Zentraedi fleet through the area(delay the SDF-1's arrival a hundred of so years or just have a universe where the Zentraedi and the DoZ successfully revolted against the Masters). Mind you, the Zentraedi don't necessarily have to be GOOD Guys, they could just be stopping by to retank on biomass, do a survey, or are just looking for new territory to expand into. And for some reason they get torqued at the Capitol and do a stomp-through, throwing the whole system down in ruins.
From what I recall, the Capital has/had limited antigravity technology(a few systems, mainly seen in the arena), in the past had bio-engineering, and supposedly had nukes...but nowhere near the resources or manpower to fend off even a small Robotech-style alien invasion...

Same game plan as applied to the 'Battle Royale'* universe; sneak in, cut the video feed, rescue the innocents, force the promoters to run around trying to figure out WTH just happened and why their star program just tanked. Then disappear the promoters. Then usurp same video channels to show NEW reality show, with special new episodes of the Game of Pain featuring the promoters. Make it clear the promoters' employers are next as guest stars. Assist resulting revolution.

*Japanese novel/(GRUESOMELY graphic) manga with a more modern Japanese dystopia, military dictatorship, and the same general idea--pit a bunch of teenagers against each other on a deserted island, random weapons, and explosive-rigged radio collars that are set to go off if the wearer strays into a restricted area, or lingers in an area too long(to keep people from holing up, the restricted zones shift about, forcing the involuntary participants to constantly keep moving. Only one person is allowed to survive, and they get lauded as celebrities...Of course the whole idea is to show the power of the state, divert peoples' attention with bloodsport, and quell rebellion(no, really!).

Considering Sutherland -IS- President Snow in the movie, it's an irony.
Now for the geek point bonus....how does the Sherman tank factor in? :P
